A few seats in front of Toby saw the boy he saw before and another girl, she was giggling, they must be together, a small frown came upon his face as he looked at his phone reading through old texts, one from an old friend named Ben, that kid had problems, but he couldn't say anything due to he had bigger problems. Toby read over a few funny moments making him smile and laugh a little, then he remembered then Ben was going to the same school which made him feel a bit better, but kinda nervous..Ben can be a little embarrassing, last year he stole his pants and wore them on his head, but wasn't made fun of, in fact he got Into a group with a few guys named Jeff and Jack, they both had 'great' details...they scare the hell out of Toby. The bus slowly came to it's stop as everyone slowly leaned forward from the force of the harsh breaks, Toby got up making his bag fall as he went over to pick it up before that boy grabbed it and handed it to him "Is this yours?" The boy tilted his head. A bright pink tent spread across Toby's face as he could sense the tingly feeling around his cheeks. He stayed silent and held the bag, he nodded to give the boy an answer before watching him walk off and stepped off the bus, Toby coughed harshly and then stood there in shock and with his face red as a tomato..'questioning everything...seems okay?' He thought before slowly heading off the bus and stood small to the huge building where kids rushed into slamming the doors open and closed. The sound of the wind blowing against him blowing a few pieces of his hair out of his eyes to make him see much better. Many kids began to clear up since they all already entered. He walked up hugging his note book close and entered. Toby eyes widened to the multiple hallways and huge doors down the one main hall leading to the cafeteria, the bathrooms next to it and separating the girls and boys bathroom was four water fountains. Toby slowly stepped forward looking down one of the hallways seeing locker after locker combining next to each other. He took deep breaths knowing right away he was gonna get lost in this place..and would be totally embarrassed if- Ben ran into Toby as he looked up at him. "Dude! I haven't seen you all summer!" Ben exclaimed and hugged him. Toby smiled nervously looking around and patted Ben's head. "Missed you too" he said nervously and kinda pushed Ben away but only far enough to where he would let go. "Where have you been, you're never outside, you never call, we barely text anymore c'mon dude!" Ben went on and on about the summer, Toby clearly had to change the subject. "I was busy o-okay" he said looking down at ben. Ben rolled his eyes. "You're always busy" he whined playfully. "Hey, there's a new student this year, his name's Tim" Ben smiled "the principle assigned me to show him around, first time in forever to be noticed am I right" Ben elbowed Toby with a wink. "Yeah...yeah" he said kinda zoned out. "Whats got cha down in the dumps man, I'm your bestie, your pal, your legit only friend. Hey you know you should be more social and maybe I won't be the only one" Ben crossed his arms with a giggle. Toby looked away from Ben and nodded. "Right...well..uhhh see you at lunch? When ever that I-is" Toby reached to the pocket of his bag and pulled out his schedule scanning over it. Ben nodded and rushed off down the hall pushing through taller kids And was embedded in a bundle of rushing kids. Many pushed Toby while he was reading and he slowly made his way to room 178, which was English class. Man he hoped no one he knew was in there.
[ic]When Toby arrived, he took a seat in the far back behind five other desks that were put, the teacher gave him. A face of 'really?' But it wasn't in a bad way. Many others began to walk in and take their seats, many setting a seat from him as they all knew who he was. Toby didn't care much but it hurt just a bit to know he wasn't a normal person, as much as he wanted to be, he just wasn't no matter how much he tried. He ran his fingers along the book cover on his desk in boredom until he felt something odd, he looked up and turned his head to see that boy again, they sat right next to him. Toby looked back at the board with the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. He picked the book up and held it hugging it tightly as if a kid held their teddy bear. Toby stayed silent and tried to keep focus on the board but his eyes kept uncontrollably traveling over to the boy..'could this be that new kid Ben was talking about?' He asked himself in his own mind struggling to keep focus. "alright class, today I'm your English teacher Mrs. Reed." The teacher blurted catching his attention. Mrs. Read scanned the class room."We have a few new students this year, care to be introduced Mr. Wright?" She asked with a warm smile slightly tilting her head. "Sure" The boy stood up and looked around. "My name is Tim and I'm 16 years old" everyone looked at him and nodded with a few claps. Toby looked down wide eyed and stayed silent. "Okay, today we are gonna do partner work, I know I know not the funniest thing, but hey, all you are gonna do is correct sentences, heh. Elementary school work" she said overly excited. Toby Looked down and was drawing something, he was zoned out in the picture he was drawing...it was of Tim, he didn't realize this until he blinked. His eyes widened as he ripped out the pAper and crumbled it up. Toby was gonna burn it later.."alright class, pick your partner's!" Mrs. Reed sat down at her desk while a stack of papers sat on the desk ready to be picked up. Toby slowly watched everyone gather around and choose their partners as he immediately knew he wasn't gonna be picked volunteeringly. He sat there and waited to see who was left and he couldn't believe his eyes. Tim was sitting alone at his desk, he wasn't chosen because he was new. Toby thought and said the most stupidest thing ever. "...hey..wanna be....partners...?..." He tilted his head slightly looking down with a hint of red on his face. Tim looked over with a frown before it turned into a smile. "Okay" after that things went downhill...
