The group wakes up slowly, Flavian, Mairi, and Jeeves meet up downstairs in Marco's tavern. They continue questioning each other, and eat a light breakfast. Flavian goes upstairs to wake Naya, and bring her downstairs. The party leaves Marco's and enters the festive street. Following the street to the town center.
As they enter the open space, they are met with flashes of color and sound. Small bands are set up at different points, playing out upbeat, rhythmic music on drums and guitar. Outside of a few stores, large Castillian men are ushering men in, calling out into the street to gain attention. Small stalls are set up around, offering small food and drink items. Mairi and Flavian decide to sign up for drinking contests- Mairi for horchata, and Flavian for ale. Naya joins the young ones for a classic Castillian dance.
After some coffee, dancing, costume changes, and chatting, the party follows the crowd to the docks. Flavian, Naya, and Mairi are led up to carriages made into floats- each decorated differently. Flavian's being mainly red, gold, and black. Naya's having flower and soft color design. Mairi's -being the last in the row, has a large, paper mache monster head on the back. They are brought up to their respective floats, and the parade starts.
As the parade slowly drives down the dock, each member invites individuals to join them on the float to dance to the Castillian music playing along the street. Flavian bringing Diego- the captain of the guard, Adalaide- the Avalonian herb merchant, and - a local young Castillan woman. Naya inviting Sergei- a visiting Ussuran sailer, and a few young Castillian kids. Mairi looks for Julio -a young Castillian man, and invites some young ones to join as well. As they travel slowly, they notice a Brig leaving the pier. They also see some dark figures behind the Church, not joining in on the revelries, as well as the priest standing serenely in front.
The floats come to a stop in the center of town, and the party members are brought down, to sit on a bench and tell the tale of slaughtering the massive, violent monster from the north-eastern forest. After which Flavian participates in his contest- winning first place, and 1 Wealth.
As the sun begins to set, Flavian hangs with the crowd; while Naya has a calm, quiet dinner with Sergei; and Mairi enjoys her time with Julio, watching the sun set.
