There she was with a wrinkled face, kind smile and very heavy, large bags rested on her shoulders. They were pitch black and they looked like obese ostriches - wide and long. Her dress was a bit old fashioned. Beautiful diamonds on the edges of the delicate collars and intricate designs on the front. The old lady's hair was grey and curly like the crisps I was eating before. But my crisps weren't grey, because if they were, that's a serious concern. I finally decided to speak.
"Hello! How may I help you?" I said nicely.
"Oh, well, my cab is coming and I was walking down this road when I called them. I just picked a house from here and so I decided to give them this houses address. It's really cold outside, so is it okay for me to wait here until it comes?"
This was odd. Why would she give my address? She didn't even know me. How did she know my address anyways, if she was just randomly walking by?
"Okay, you can stay here for a bit." I replied without thinking much.
"Thank you, young lady!" She said gratefully. CLICK CLACK! Her heels were off and she slowly went to my living room, sat down on my leather sofa and turned on the TV casually. It was as if she owned this house or something.
"Make yourself feel like this is your home. Eat whatever you want, and call me if you need to." I said, a bit annoyed. This old woman was a bit rude for just coming in and turning on the TV without my permission. How dare she? My precious TV is my only actual friend, and she just casually touches it? I rushed up the stairs and continued to play on my phone. Just as I settled back down into my warm bed, there was another knock on my door. Ugh leave me in peace!
