When the bell rang, I ran for the door. Greg tried to run after me but his books fell out of his hands and I got lost in the crowd. I ran to my locker, 244, which was right next to his, grabbed my books and sprinted to my last class of the day, French.
Luckily in French we sit on opposite sides of the room. He sat five seats diagonally behind me, but I didn't look back because I could feel him staring at me.
Finally, the last bell of the day rang. School was finally over. Everyone ran out of the classroom. I could already hear people yelling and laughing. I got to my locker, getting all of my homework stuffed into my backpack.
But I wasn't fast enough.
