Part 1: Tragedy

Deku POV

I stood next to my mother's hostpital bed. Tears streaming down my face. Her heartbeat was getting slower and slower as time progressed.

*beep beep beep....beep........beep........beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-*

I looked at the monitor and burst into tears. Her heart finally stopped. Suddenly doctors came rushing in and hours later they broke the news to me. She was gone. I didn't even get to say goodbye...

My heart ached. I cried all day. I wished I could've been there. Before it happened. Then a memory came back to me from a week earlier. When mom was sent to the hostpital. The doctors told me she had been in the mall during a villain attack. 

I was so worried. I called her over and over again but she never answered her phone. I went to the hostpital she was staying at, and found out she was in a coma. They said she might not make it.

I lay on my bed, sobbing loudly. Then I heard the doorknob turn. As I was sobbing, I heard my father yell, "AYE SHUT THE HELL UP." Sounds like he's been drinking again. I hate that man. He never appreciates me or is even happy for me in the slightest. 

I quieted down and decided to go somewhere else and let out my feelings. I knew my dad wouldn't let me go anywhere, so I decided to sneak out of the window. I walked down to a wooded area with a bench and made sure no one was around.
