Part 5: Suicidal

Deku POV

As I opened the door I was shocked to see my dad standing there waiting for me with an angry expression. Usually that wasn't a good sign. When I approached the door, he stood in front of it blocking the door.

"Where have you been?" He said angrily. I didn't respond. A few seconds pass until I feel a sudden stinging sensation on my cheek. He grabbed my wrist and dragged me all the way to my bedroom.

He kicked me in the stomach, which winded me a few times and he punched me in my face. To defend myself, I put my arms in front of my face for protection. It still really hurt. This went on forever. When he finally stopped, before he left the room he said "How did I end up with a weak son like you?"

I waited until he fell asleep and snuck into the bathroom. I grabbed a razor from the cabinet. I look at it for a second. I pulled my sleeve back and pressed it into my skin, leaving a deep gash. I washed off the blood and put on a bandage.

I went back to sleep.

The next morning I got ready for school. As I walked to the school, I looked at my phone. Eijiro had sent me a text.

🛑Eijiro🛑: Good morning!

💚Izuku💚: Good morning 

🛑Eijiro🛑: Do you have any plans tonite?

💚Izuku💚: yeah srry

🛑Eijiro🛑: It's ok 👌 

🛑Eijiro🛑: tomorrow then?

💚Izuku💚: yeah sure.

I was so busy texting him that I accidentally ran into someone. "Oh I'm sorry. I wasn't paying atten-" I stopped talking as soon as I saw the person I bumped into. It was Kacchan. I took a step back. What was I going to do? I quickly dash past him and into the school bathroom.

I can here him shouting my name from the hallways. I made sure to be as quiet as possible. I guess he remembers what happened yesterday. I kinda laughed. Bad idea. As soon as I did kacchan came marching in. He burst open every bathroom cubicle until he found me.

I was fearing for my life. He grabbed my collar and slammed me onto the floor. "Did you really think I'd let get away with that?" He said with an evil smirk. He started beating me up until the bell rang. He left me there, lying on the ground with another bloody nose.

After school, I ran out of the gates hoping not to see Kacchan. I ran home and opened the door. Good my dad wasn't here. I changed out of my uniform and left the house. I went to Hosu City bridge, and looked at the huge river down below. I would definitely die if I hit the water hard enough. 

I climbed over the railing. Then I heard someone yell at me. "Izuku! What are you doing your going to fall" it was Eijiro. I just looked at him." I know." I said. Then Eijiro started to walk towards me slowly, but stopped when he realized everytime he took a step forward, I would step backwards, closer to the edge.
