Chapter 1

I finally arrived to the beach to sketch, I go to my usual high rock with little doodles all over it at school doodle is my nickname. I looked out onto the water once I climbed the rock, the ocean looked beautiful. There was a sort of house/temple thing near the beach but I never really cared for it, it wasn't what I was there for, I brought a sketch pad today so I had a flat surface to draw on opposed to the rough rock, I began to sketch the ocean.

About a half hour later I looked back at the sea, I felt the salty air flow through my hair. I sighed a happy sigh. I opened my eyes again, then I saw the figure of a person! They didn't have long hair but they seemed to be wearing a dress. They were far away but near the shore. I hopped of the rock, my short skirt flowing behind me. As I began to walk towards her, I noticed her, she was a girl, with... blue, skin? "Hello?" I said as I approached. "Who are you?" She asked me skeptically "your, lapis right?" I asked, fascinated. "Who wants to know?" She asked barely looking over her shoulder at me "my name is Kylie." I told her. "I've heard that name before..." she twirled around gracefully. "Oh," she said. She turned around again and on her back with the gem implanted a pair of water wings sprouted, I was amazed, "Hey! Before you go... could, could you come here tomorrow?" I asked her. "Maybe," she said looking over her shoulder at me. She gave me a small smile.
