short, white tufts of hair ruffled in the breeze as a young girl exited the truck. she was short and thin with curly white hair and golden eyes. she walked up to the grey house, carrying a box and several bags. 'so this is what they expect me to call home huh?' she asked herself, knowing full well what the answer was. letting out a sigh she trudged inside and through the house to the basement where her room would be. all the other rooms were taken by her older brothers and parents but she didn't mind one bit. with a slight stumble in her step due to a lack of visibility, she made her way down the steps into her room. she set her things down and immediately plopped onto her bed which consisted of only a king-sized, box spring and mattress she had pushed into the corner beside the stairs with a small bedside table and a lamp. on the opposite wall was her desk and dresser where all of her things would be. the wall next to her, opposite the stairs, would be her weapons wall. It was an old family tradition to collect weapons. on the floor, a red and black pentagram rug lay in front of her bed and a curtain was hung in front of my bed cutting it off from the rest of the room.
lupa's p.o.v.
after an hour of putting away and placing things where they go, I stretched, hearing the satisfying pops of my joints. I sat at the end of my bed and looked at my room. my charts and chalkboards were all set up along with my shelf of ingredients and tools. I took a long, deep breath smelling the incense I was burning. slipping off my normal, grungy clothes I changed into a black crop top and black sweatpants before heading upstairs. I opened the door slowly to see my brothers and my dads ( yup gay dads) unpacking. I left the warm, dark comfort of my dwelling and sat on the couch watching my brothers argue like it was a soap opera. "hey guys do y'all ever stop fighting?" "nope" "Nah" I don't know why I bother asking, Al and Matt were always like this. I continued to watch them before dozing off on the couch. soon enough it was dark out and I was awoken by my papa, a grumpy Frenchmen with a knack for smoking and drinking. "dinner puppy" was all he said before going to the kitchen where my brothers and my dad, a peppy Englishmen, were. "coming papa" I exclaimed, eager to eat and go back to sleep. I sat at the table between my brothers as always as dad sat a plate in front of me. "so puppy you excited for school tomorrow?" Matt questioned. he and Al were 18 and working at my dads' bakery they would be opening. "not really. why did we have to move?" "because someone doesn't know how to get rid of the evidence." all eyes moved to Al "OK OK I know I fucked up but hey they didn't pin it on us so we're good" "yeah whatever" most dinners were like this. the more I think about it the more I question what would school be like. all I know is that my old pen pal buddy lives here so would be able to meet him. I was excited to finally meet butters who had been my friend for a couple of years now. oh well, that is all for tomorrow. I left the table after eating and slugged my way downstairs to my room. I grabbed a backpack:
and placed a notebook, pencil pouch, and other necessities for tomorrow before grabbing my outfit
and draping it over the chair at my desk. I pick out all my accessories and lumbered off to bed under my deep purple and blue covers and drifted off to sleep.
