KENNEDYS POV:
I didn't want this, I didn't want to wake up to such a surprise...one that seems so...strange...
But than again, things happen, right?
But nothing like this...nothing so, so...paranormal...
My name is Kennedy Louise Rhett and up until today, I was completely normal. At first, I didn't think anything about the strange number on my wrist, 0100111001, I mean, I was freaked out, but maybe someone just drew on my wrist. But still, after a long shower, it remains, in perfect condition. Now, here I am, in class, pondering over the strange number.
"Ms. Rhett!" I slightly jumped at the stern voice of our teach. "Were here to learn, not daydream!" I was about to about retaliate, but the scowl on her face told me better.
Instead I slowly whispered. "Yes mam, it won't happen again." My brown eyes casted downwards, staring at the graffiti written on the white, wooden desk.
She than turned around, continuing to ramble on about some nonsense.
"And you wonder why your grades are bad," someone whispered beside me, I looked up to see Tiara, my best friend,
"Oh please, they're perfect," I scoffed.
"Definitely, a D is the best grade you can get..."Ring! The bell signaled our leave, causing me to bolt up and grab my books, rushing out of my classroom.
As I speed walked away something hard hit my shoulder, causing me to turn around and look at them.
As if time slowed down, the teenage boy who had run into me looked over and smirked, disappearing just as quick, leaving my imagination running. Who was that...?
"Oi! Ken!" Someone shouted, followed by the sounds of footsteps. "I told you wait! We were gonna walk together!" Taira scolded, rambling on.
I signed, placing my hands on her shoulders. "Calm down," I stated, smiling down at the shorter girl. This caused her face to soften, she brought her hand up, the sleeve of her blue shirt rolling down, reviling numbers on her wrist... the same Orphic Numbers as mine.
