In this chapter I will tell you all about the Carnival Freedom, the first Carnival ship I've cruised on.Ok, first off when you board any cruise ship your gonna go a through security and then a lonnnng line to "check in." You can't skip the customs but you can skip the long check in line of you have Faster to the Fun, which is something you have to buy before hand that gives you tons of perks,( The perks include: you get to get on the ship before everyone but the platinum, diamond, and getting married people. You also get a tiny line of any to wait in for your "check in." Also you get priority embarkation\debarkation, and a priority customer service desk, and your room is priority so you get your luggage before the unpriority cruisers and you get your room ready to go in before the unpriority cruisers. ) pretty sweet huh? But be warned they don't give out much of the Faster to the Fun, so you need to snap it up well ahead of cruise time of you want it.
Once you get on the ship it's a good idea to either A. Swim in the pool or water slide while there still pretty empty.
B. Eat at the restaurants, the buffet will probably be the most packed with people. (typical)
C. Check out the ship if you like.
But be warned, Lots of other people will be eating as well. Here are the food options:
Pizza Pirate
Here you can get pizza all day long all cruise long except for the very morning you get off the ship.
It one my personal favorites (big surprise huh). Here's the menu items.
1.Quattro formaghi which is like four cheese.
2.Pepperoni which I'm pretty sure you know.
3.Funghi which is mushroom pizza.
4.Margerhita which ain't alcoholic, it's like normal cheese pizza.
5.Prosciutto which has white sauce, prosciutto, and arugula(a type of plant kinda like spinach.).
