''Chill Mia." He laughed
" No 'cause i done told yo ass I'm not getting caught up with you."
"You just need a boyfriend , you bitter in that big ass apartment all by yo'self." He rubbed his hands together laughing
"Imma big girl , i can handle myself." I smiled sarcastically
I blew a strand of my hair that was in my face , Watching the cold winter air appear in front of me. I smiled , back when i was a yougin i used to talk in winter air just to pretend i was a dragon, that shit was fun back then. Real Talk.
"Shit , its cold out'chea." He said
"Outchea." i repeated , i loved it when i was around Ray he funny and he been my Squad since Grade school , our dads were tight back in the day. My pops was never really the best figure in my life being the way he was , but he wasn't to bad. See Ray is like the brother i never had.
"Here come Bum Bitch Marta." I said queuing the crack head
''Wassup Ray." she said smiling with no worries of showing her brown teeth. "Tamia. So you still slangin down here? Girl , i just knew you would go to college and wouldnt have to end up like your mom." She said to me with an unwillingly calm voice
"Like my mom? We'aint biting the same apple." I said
"Oh so your not selling your body? You just followed your fathers footsteps instead." She said
"Ehh , maybe so." i shrugged , not intimidated.
"Y'all Got my package?" she asked
"Package? You ordered one bag." I said
"I should have the hook up." She said
'' No Marta , You thought you had the hook up." I said "That's just what you get for thinking."
" Oh well I want a extra bag or two" she said "how much i can get for three-hunna?" she asked
"Just one more." Ray said
"Fine by me pumpkin, you know, you look just like your father did back in the day." She cheesed at Ray
I chuckled under my breath.
"Here," Ray handed her the 2 small bags of weed and collected the money "Now go home"
I laughed "Tell The hubby and your crack babies i said Hello."
"Oh , burn In Hell." She rolled her eyes
"K , Just Lead My Way B." I smiled and with that being said she was on her way.
"Can I stay at your place tonight?" Ray asked
"Yo Girl trippin again?"
"Like always , can a man be a man?"
"Shoulda been dropped that thotie." I shrugged
"Her head game on point bruh." He laughed
"Yeah , Ight." I shook my head
Sooner or later the customers came for pick up and we were on our way to the Warehouse to tell boss our shift was over and we was gon call it a night.
Still Tamias Pov
3:23 ; Dealers Block Warehouse
We walked into the Warehouse to see Boss in the room with his feet up talking to about my age maybe younger , light skin , big hair and rather handsome.
"We Done , Top." Ray Said
"Thank you guys , don't know what I'd do without my two favorites." He said winking at me
I faked a giggle and looked down in disgust.
"Well , I think we'll go." Ray said wrapping his arm around my shoulder , hes been doing that since like 7th grade. Every time a male makes me uncomfortable , i think he does it to show protection.
"Wait , Wait Just A Minute . Not So Fast." He said "Whats the rush?"
"We just tired , that's all." Ray Said
"I'm sorry to keep you up , but i need to keep you for just a little longer." He said
"What is it Boss?" I said a little worried
"Don't Be worried Mia." He said "It isn't too bad."
"Yeah , so what is it?" Ray asked
"See this boy here , this is my youngest." he said referring to the boy in front of us "He's been hiding out from Benzino."
"Wow , for what?" I chuckled
"Whats funny 'bout that?" He said with his eyes way furrowed
"I used to steal from they wear house err'day when that were in Crenshaw." i started "There Security isn't good at all and I've seen Benzino , whats there to be afraid of?."
"Well Mia , Last time they were in California at all was in 2007. They've changed a whole lot." Boss stated " And Tamia , you know how we had been trying to figure out who was behind the disappearance of both of your fathers?"
"Uhuh" I nodded
"Well." he handed me and Manila folder and i opened it to see a picture of my father hanging from the ceiling with one leg sawed off. I closed the folder and sat down in the black chair infront of Bosses desk. Cupping My head in my hands , My tears were uncontrollable. Ray had then took a look for him self , I looked over to the boy who had uneasy eyes.
"You good Shawty?" he asked me
''Im straight." I shook my head with tears still flowing down my face
"Mia." Ray said handing me the folder "Imma Kill Him"
"Now Ray , " Boss started
"Naw Top , with all respect , there's no way your stopping me from this one." He said shaking his head
"Stopping? Who said anything about stopping you? I was actually keeping you to tell you the plan." Boss smiled
"So how do we do it?" I asked
"We? Mia No" Ray said
"Ray! You have to stop doing that to me! It was my dad too. I think i deserve to go." I said
"Its too dangerous Mia" He said
"Ray , Please" i begged in a way
"Rayan , shes right kid. I need all three of you on this mission." Boss said
"Three?" I asked
"Jacob Too" He said
''Me?" the boy asked "Moms gonna smoke yo ass on this one pops."
"I just need to know if you all are down."
We looked at eachother "We Down" All three of us said in unison
