Chapter 11

Fiona

I pace back and forth outside of the office. I could feel a pair of eyes watching me as I move.

"Aren't you Alpha Roman's mate?" Henry said, snapping my attention towards him and stopped  pacing back and forth

"It's complicated and a long story," I said and started to once again pace around the hall.

"I can tell you, we will be waiting for a while." He said.

I sigh, I don't know why, but I feel like I can trust Henry. He's older, probably around 40 years old and he gives that fatherly vibe.

I sit down next to him and explain the whole story.

"What a shit head," He said after I finished the story.

I nodded my head in agreement. Now that I look back at it, with all the crap he did to me, I'm surprised I loved him at all. 

I was about to say some, but the door opened and I got up and went over to Max. 

"How did it go?" I asked.

I was still a little upset that I wasn't able to go in with him, but it wasn't his fault.

"We will talk about it later," He said. He turned to Henry and said "Thank you for the help"

Henry nodded. Max grabbed my hand and dragged me to our room.

We finally arrive at the room and Max closes the door behind us.

"Are you going to tell me what he said or are you not going to tell?" I asked

He walked over to the bed and sat down and looked at me with a smile on his face.

"He said that although our packs don't have the best relationship we should still world together. He said that if I was telling the truth that it was more important that then the argument between our packs." He said.

I was shocked. I mean the relationship between our pack was really bad, and for him to be okay with helping us fight was a big step. The reason that our packs haven't gotten along is because the first Alpha of our packs had a bad relationship, and since then, it has just gotten worse.

"That's great!" I said excitedly, I wasn't sure what else to say.

He smiled and I could tell that he was proud of himself.

I wasn't expecting what he did next.

He kissed me. 

Our first kiss as mates. This kiss would have come sooner, but I'm a lady who thinks the man should kiss the girl first.

I kiss him back. His lips were soft, yet rough. After he realized that I was kissing back, his kisses became more aggressive. Not that I mind.

Roman wasn't the best in bed, and you could tell that through the kisses we share, they were always wet and never good. Old me thought he was a good kisser, but new me knows better.

Max somehow managed to take his time and still be aggressive with his kiss.

Next thing I knew, clothes were coming off and the sheets were being moved.
