That evening, you returned to your home, backpack full of homework. After that weird but yet, eventful day, you decided to sit down and watch some television. To your surprise, that new kid J.D wasn't on the news. Whatever, it didn't matter anyways. You pulled out your homework and began to work.

Once you finished your homework, you decided to go get a slushy from the Snappy Snack Shack. Yes you enjoyed eating junk food from there on occasion, but you usually were there for a slushy. Your mother was out of town and your brother was staying at a friends house, so it was just you alone in the house. You locked the front door and got in your car and drove off to your destination. Once you arrived, you walked over to the slushy machine. You saw J.D and you were about to say hi, but he was talking to Veronica Sawyer, the girl who recently joined the most popular group in school, the heathers. You couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. Why did you feel this way? What was happening to you. Either way you could care less. After she left, you walked over,"Hey new kid." you said. He turned around, expecting some bully or something, but it was you,"Hey, you're the girl who was impressed by my skills in the cafeteria today." he spoke. You rolled your eyes, unimpressed by his attempted flirting,"Firing a gun isn't exactly a skill J.D." you said,"Ah well, the extreme always seems to make an impression." he said. You couldn't help but blush, you didn't realize it but you were slowly falling for him, and you just met today. After an awkward amount of staring and silence, you spoke,"Well it was nice seeing ya here new kid." you winked at him,"The pleasures all mine miss." he said. J.D decided to pay for your slushy, even though you protested that he didn't have to. You both then exited,"Well i'll see you around J.D." you said,"Hopefully." he responded. You thanked him for the slushy and walked to your car. Little did you know, you would see him again that night,
