The Mysteries Of Buttercup House

Chapter Two - The Restraunt

After a while, David heard a lot of noise coming from nearby. David exited and locked the room he was staying in and went off to investigate what the noise was sliding his room key into his trouser pocket as he went.

After about half a hour of trying to locate the noise David came across a room with a sign hanging on its door.

The sign read:
The Buttercup House Restaurant

There was another sign under it displaying opening times but David did not pay much attention to that.

Soon after noticing the signs on the door David went into the room the door was the door of.

After a while David found a free table (Table number twenty-nine for anyone who is interested).

A menu was located on the table that David was sitting at so David picked it up.

The menu was headed 'DINNER MENU' and David studied it intently for a little while.

After studying the menu, David had decided which dish he was going to have. David had decided to have a rather appetising sounding fish dish and a drink of 'The Buttercup House Special Fruit Juice Concoction'

Moments later, Fizzy came over to his table and took his order of what David had decided to have (the rather appetising sounding fish dish and a drink of 'The Buttercup House Special Fruit Juice Concoction').

After a while, the food and drink that David had ordered arrived at his table and he ate and drunk all of the food and drink that he had been served with over the next hour.

After finishing his food and drink, David payed for his food and drink (David was very happy when he got a ten percent discount on the food because he was staying at the hotel.).

Soon after this occurred David left the restaurant (The Buttercup House Restaurant) that he had been eating in and started back on his way up to the room he was staying in, to the key out of the pocket of his trousers and unlocked the door of the room he was staying in. He then went into the room he was staying in and had a look around the room. After doing this, he locked the door of his room.

There was desk that was behind the the door of the room that David was staying in and over the course of the next hour David examined it carefully and found a letter inside of it which was to him but was dated with a date that was almost two hundred years before David was even born. David found this rather strange.

In the first five paragraphs of the letter it said all about David's life and how he had come across Buttercup House whilst walking in the snow.

The sixth paragraph of the letter said the following:

Do fly in her shadows and after a while your quest will be revealed if that's what you wish to happen.

The letter was from from E.M.

David had no idea who and/or what E.M. was but he wanted to find out and fast mainly due to the P.S. which read

THEY ARE COMING FOR YOU, FAST ACTING YOU MUST BE IN ORDER TO SURVIVE.

David was very concerned after reading this P.S.

He got even more concerned when he heard a knock at the door of his room.

Soon after this he dropped the letter from his hand and it fell on the ground.
