the past few weeks were just you and your team going on D-Rank missions like catching a cat or delivering a letter which was supper boring, you wished that you could go on a C- Rank or higher Ranked mission. Almost 6 weeks has passed by and you're still going on boring D-Ranked missions. you couldn't take it anymore and decided to complain, But Naruto already beat you to it
as you and the team were on their way to the Hokage's office to get your new boring D-Rank mission, Naruto started complaining to Kakashi-sensei about how boring these missions are "I myself don't even enjoy boring missions like these, so I was planning on to speak to the Hokage to give us at least a C-Rank mission" He said while opening the door to the Hokage office
the moment your team entire the room the Hokage quickly started going through his mission file, he clears his throat and started reading some of the missions 'Lets see what we have.... catching lady Fuma's cat AGAIN, letter carrying, babysitting, so many possibilities, I guess I will give yo-' the Hokage's voice gets cut out as Naruto shouted saying ' I don't want to go on such boring missions, give us a C-Rank mission, we can do it, BELIEVE IT ' The entire team nods in agreement. The Hokage hesitantly replied ' well there is this bodyguard mission, a C-Rank one, I will let you go on that mission ' Naruto gasped in excitement ' whose the person we are protecting, who is it, who is it? ' Naruto asked impatiently ' Well, SEND HIM IN' The Hokage ordered. after a few seconds a old man who seems to be drunk entire the room. He looked around the room, as his eye's landed on Naruto he narrowed his eyes and said ' And you think I'm suppose to believe that this short-weak brat will guard me?' Naruto started laughing while rubbing his back ' HAHAHAHA, so whose this short trash?' everyone from the team slides next to Naruto and from all 4 of you he is the smallest 'I WILL KILL YOU' Naruto said while throwing punches into the air as kakashi-sensei was holding him back. Sasuke lets out a sigh and places his hand on your shoulder 'only Naruto will attack a client which we are trying to PROTECT ' You turn to him and gave a small smile and said 'OKAY, everyone meet up at the front gate of Konoha with in 1 hour ' you tell them that and was about to run to your house when Sasuke stopped you 'I will walk you home' he told you while trying to avoid your eyes so that it doesn't become awkward, You gave him a small nod and said " I would like that ''
~AFTER HEADING OUT TO LAND OF WAVES~
As you were walking along side Sasuke and Sakura you notice a puddle of water on the ground. it was weird because it hasn't rained in days. you looked at everyone to see if they noticed but no one seems to notice so you decided to ignore it. As you were walking pass the puddle 2 weird looking ninja's jump out of the puddle and caught Kakashi-sensei off guard, they were able to easily eliminate Kakashi-sensei. one enemy attacked Naruto which gave a cut on Naruto's arm but Sasuke quickly attacked the enemy, pinning the chain he used to attack to a tree using a shurikan and a kunai. As you realize that the second enemy was aiming for the man you were suppose to protect, you quickly took out a kunai and ran in front of the old man so that the enemy cant harm him. the enemy strikes, he moved his chain super fast which gave you barely enough time to dodge, you quickly push the old man to the side which gave you only a second to dodge, as you were moving out of the chains way it managed to make a cut on your waist. You fell to your knees and screamed in pain. Sasuke quickly rushed over to your side and started to defend you from the enemy. all of a sudden Kakashi-sensei comes out of nowhere and attacks the enemy and killed them
you tried to stand up which made the pain get even worse. Sasuke quickly rushes over to you and helps you stand up and Sakura bandaged your wound. "Most importantly Naruto the wound that the chain gave is poisoned we need to head back to konoha for medical treatment " after kakashi-sensei said that you looked and examined Naruto's wound and nod in agreement "Kakashi-sensei is right Naruto-kun, the wound looks bad we should head back" you tell Naruto while standing up with Sasuke's help. All of a sudden Naruto stabs his hand with his Kunai to get the poison out of his blood, everyone stared at him in shock " We already came this far, we cant give up now, and my hand is better now" Naruto says with a frown '' that's great and all, but your gonna die of blood loss" Kakashi-sensei says bluntly. Naruto started freaking out screaming that he doesn't want to die. Kakashi-sensei bandages his hand and says "still I think we should retreat "
"B-b-but, if y-you l-leave they will attack again" Tazuna said frightened. you frown and looked at Tazuna "This doesn't seem to be a C-Rank mission, its probably a B-Rank or higher. And as you are from Land of waves, you probably put this mission under C-Rank to save some money didn't you? " you ask Tazuna out of irritation that he would do such a thing. Tazuna hesitantly nodded and said "We are short on money so I had no choice, if you accompany me than I will explain, so please, I need the help from powerful shinobi's such as yourself " you irritated by his actions but you decided to help him. finally when you were able to walk on your own, you followed Tazuna to a row boat , you sat down on the boat and turned back to look at your team "Are you coming?" you shouted out to your team. they gave a simple nod and followed you into the small row boat and headed out into the lake and into some thick mist
