I just wanna thank everybody who even gave this book a try, and started reading. This is my first book (that i haven't deleted). I've tried to write books in the past, but something about this book just feels right. I know this book gonna be good. I just hope y'all will love reading it as much as I'll enjoy writing it.

Anyways, I'm talking too much, let's get into the book.

Onika M.

"Meek, not today baby. I'm not in the mood" As always, Meek started his usual stuff. Asking where I'm going, who I'm gonna be with, and whatever else. I can't deny my love for him, but it's slowly fading. I just need some me time.

"What you mean 'not today'" He said with a confused expression.

"I'm going out to lunch"

"With who?"

"Myself Rob, okay. You don't have to know where i am every second of the day. Just, when i get back, be out of here. I'll talk to you tomorrow, or when i feel like it" i grabbed my purse and got out of there as fast as i could. I hoped in my Pink Lamborghini Aventador and pulled off. I had to do something to elevate my spirits and driving this always made me feel so fierce.

I pulled up to Sierra Mar Fine Dining Restaurant and went in and once they saw who i was they led me right to a dining table. The hostess seeing as if i didn't wanna be bothered, she moved me to a secluded section away from everyone, and for that i gave her a tip.

"Onika" I heard a distinct voice call out. I looked up to see... Chris Brown.

"Hi baby, I haven't seen you in foreverrrrr" I stood to embrace him in a hug. I don't know what it was about him, but he was looking more like a grown ass man than usual, He looked good... reallllllll good.

"Yeah, it's nice to see you too. I found these by your car. Can't really get far without these" He said dangling my keys.

"Oh. My. God. Chris thank you so much"

"Yeah. It's only one person that comes to mind when i see a Pink Lamborghini Aventador in LA. But, I can't help but ask, you good ma? You look a bit down. I mean ion wanna get in ya business a'nun but i can't help it. It's all over ya face." I chuckled.

"You're not getting in my business, I don't mind it" I moved my purse to the other seat, gesturing him to sit down. "Meek is... annoying now. I love him, but i feel as if my love for him is fading. I just don't think i can stay with him anymore, so, i think i'm gonna call off the engagement."

"Damn 'Nika" My insides melted at the adorable name he just gave me. (Ni-Ka) "If anybody know about love lost its me. Just follow ya heart Nik. Ya mind gon lead you wrong cause you gon over-think it, but ya heart, it never will. And if it's anything I can possibly do to make you feel better, put a smile on ya face, cheer you up when you down, hit my line, I'm always available to you."

I couldn't hold my smile much longer. He so sweet and thoughtful. I don't know what he has going on but he is here, checking on me, and I thank him for that.

"Thank you Chris. You don't know how much that means to me"

"No problem. I know you probably want ya alone time so i'll get outta here and leave ya to it"

"Um, I don't mind you here with me. Keeping me company"

"Nah, Nick don't do dat. Don't throw that charm on me with them eyes. Sholl know how to make a nigga do what you want" He said sitting back down.

He kept me company the rest of the day and all through the night. We were having such a nice time together, it was midnight and didn't realize the resturant was closing.

"Uh ma'am, sir, we're closing"

"Ight, thank you" Chris said getting up, Walking me to my car.

"I had fun today, even though we didn't do anything but sit and talk, it's the most fun I've had in a while"

"Ain't nothing but a G thanggggg" i laughed.

"Boy, you so corny" He opened my door for me and watched me get in and waited until i pulled off to leave.

Somehow, I feel like today was the start of something... different.
