Chapter 2: Who really is Travis?

*Lucinda's p.o.v.*

I've been keeping tabs on Travis Valkrum and his father, Terry. There's something about them that I don't like. Why did Travis steal the book on how to make... those potions...? Why did I find a mysterious sword in their house? Why does it feel so familiar, like I know it from somewhere? What should I do? Should I tell Mr. Lycan about this? Should I tell Katelyn about Travis? As her friend, I think I should-- no. I can't do that! I need wait until I have more proof.

*Kim's p.o.v.*

I sometimes wonder what Lucinda is thinking about in her head; what goes on inside the mind of a witch. Although, I've had a ghost living inside me for over a year now, so that's not the weirdest thing ever... I think. Anyways, speaking of Ghost, it was really strange when she pulled me into her conscience. Even though Ghost's voice sounded very different, that wasn't the weirdest thing. Ghost looked totally different. She didn't look like a ghost; she looked like a human. It's interesting because as time goes on, Ghost keeps losing more and more of her memories, so for her to remember what she looks like is pretty impressive.

"Uh, what are you doing," asked Ghost popping out of nowhere.

"Gah! You scared me!" Kim said as she was startled. "I wasn't doing anything in particular."

"You know I can hear everything you think about, right," said Ghost.

"You can?!" Kim asked surprised.

"Of course I can! Haven't you heard this saying: "A spirit's soul can hear the mind of the life?"" Said Ghost.

"That's not even a real saying! You just made it up!" Exclaimed Kim.

"Do you really want to argue about this, or do you want to be late meeting Lucinda on the beach?" Asked Ghost annoyed.

"Okay, fine, you win!" Said Kim, giving in. "Let's go."
