I stopped, staring wide-eyed all around me. Our house has a soft brown rug, this place had marble floors. Our house has a bunch of small windows all over the place, this place had huge windows that were filling the room with sunlight. It even had a small waterfall that cascaded down into a fountain. It was all in all, beautiful. Like my dream home or something.
But I was not expecting to walk out of my room and find a completely different place. A place where my brother doesn't all of a sudden jump out and try to put me in a headlock. Where there is no sweet smell drifting out of the kitchen.
After awhile I realized someone was shaking me, and I snapped out of it, looked behind me, and what, or rather, who, shocked me.
Awwjeez, it wasn't a dream after all! I groaned, feeling a wave of despair go through me, and then I turn back around and smack my head into my hands.
"Hey Abri, you finally woke up! I was starting to get worried." I hear Dameou say behind me, with a smile in his voice. I turn around, crossing my arms and looking grumpily at him. Suddenly a thought occurs to me.
" Hey Dameou, what time is it? How long have I been out? Where are we? What happened?" I ask worriedly.
"Okay, first off, it's 3:45 on Tuesday, you have been out for about a day and a half, we are at a place that you can't know it's name until a certain thing happens that I cannot tell you, and you passed out after we teleported. Usually no one really passes out after teleporting, just get a little woozy. Only one guy who was powerful had that happen to him," He explained in a rush.
I tilted my head to the side. "Who? And what does being powerful have to with it?"
He shrugged. "I don't know. And I think that guy was like, Monor, or Dokmoru or Domoru or something."
I look at him confused for a second. He sighed and rolled his eyes. Domoru... something about that name was familiar. But my thoughts were too muddled, probably from sleeping so long, and I just couldn't pin it down.
He suddenly brightened. "Come on, i'll give you a tour." grabs me by the elbow, and starts dragging me around again.
"Could you slow down? You're always dragging me everywhere!" I grumble, dragging my feet and using my shoes to try and stop. But of course, it doesn't work. He just glanced at me, slows down a little, and after a few seconds we ended up going even faster than before. I just glared at him, and when he caught my glare he smirked. When started getting close to the water fountain, I got an idea.
Quickly I looked up at him evilly, and before he could even give me a warning glance, I drop down like a dead weight, grabbing on to his wrist with all my strength and sitting down on my butt in the fountain. He started to fall down and I quickly let go and roll to the middle of the pool, under the waterfall, and looked over at him. Seeing him there completely soaked and glaring at me, I lost it and started rolling in the water laughing.
He got up and trudged over to me, picking me up and looking evilly at me, even more evilly than the look I gave him. He carried me out the door, and I finally give up struggling so I could look around, trying to see what he's up too. We were getting some pretty strange looks by now, probably because, you know, there was a soaking wet guy holding a struggling soaking wet girl over his shoulder, and we were walking across a parking lot. That didn't really go together.
That's when I saw the lake. It was on the other side of a small parking lot and a little bit of grass, and there was a very long worn-out-looking dock. CRAP!!!
Wide-eyed, I look up at him. He had a smirk on his face, and water dripping down off of his long eyelashes due to his still dripping hair. How did he manage to make mop hair look good? My hair must look awful! I started to wiggle and squirm, doubling my efforts to try and escape, but he kept a firm grip on me.
