Once I got through the doors I looked around. Imagine a land of giant glowing mushrooms lighting brick pathways, every five meters was another steam pipe, the sky lit up with twinkling blue gems, and Dwemer architecture everywhere. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Up ahead was a small building being guarded by a (thankfully sleeping) dwaven sphere. I snuck up behind it and started to pull open its hatch to reveal the wires and gears inside. I fiddled with it for a moment and reset its ownership mainframe (It will now see me as its owner and defend me).
After that I stumbled into the house, almost falling to the ground, my vision was starting to fade more and more, blood loss was kicking in. I started searching frantically around the house for medical supplies, potions, anything to help me.My hand grabbed hold of a red bottle, one of two things would happen. One I would drink a health potion and heal my wounds, or two it would be a poison that would kill me instantly. I'm already dying, so might as well end it quickly.
I took a swig from the bottle and my vision came back, I was in a laboratory, there where two things of interest. First and most importantly, there was a red colored Nirnroot that gave a more sinister him that the green variant. Next was the skeleton with two dwemer arrows in his ribcage, in his hand was a note book.
Looking a the notebook I found out that he was a dwemer researcher who was studying the effects of this "Crimson Nirnroot" And how it not only helped give an elongated invisibility effect, but also as he theorized, with more testing could be the elixer of immortality.
Reading his research notes, he got really far in his experiment, until someone ended him. All he needed was a few more samples so that he could test out several different theories in his book.
