Brianna POV:
"Come on losers"I hear my best friend nick yell at me and my other bestfriend Adi."Tonight is going to be the best night ever!" I scream in excitement.We all get into the car as we drive down to the movies.Why was I so excited?Because me Adi and nick don't get to hang out very often,especially with only us three.
We go into the old drive in as we watch a scary movie called insidious the last key."Hand me the popcorn"I say reaching my hand out as I shove popcorn in my face and take a drink."Why were you so excited for this movie?" Adi asks looking my way for a few moments."Yea why were you?" Nick says also looking at me.We were in the back seat since we couldn't decide who was sitting in the front two seats."Because I miss you guys." I say smiling and putting my arms around the two of them pulling them into a group hug.
Nick pulls away and laughs as Adi hugs back,then pulls away."I kiss you too." Adi says.I laugh."Kiss?" I say raising my eyebrows as a joke."I meant miss I meant miss I swear!" He says his cheeks turning red."Shh" nick says while throwing popcorn at us.It was just a mistake but it was still funny.As the movie goes on I get scared at a few points as I put my head on adi's shoulder."Shit"I muttered and jump.Adi laughs as we finish the movie either my head on his shoulder or his head on my shoulder.
I yawned as nick hops in front and starts the car."I'm so tired." I say rubbing my eyes."Me too but we still have a hour ride back home." Adi says and shoots me a smile.I sigh as I lay down and put my head on his lap.It was very uncomfortable but I didn't care I was tired.I started to fall asleep as I felt someone playing with my hair.I open my eyes a little to see Adi twirling and playing with my hair.I awe to myself as I close my eyes again.I want to stay up now but I don't at the same time.
Within the next 20 minutes I don't feel him playing with my hair anymore as I hear him snoring.I hear nick chuckle as I sit up and rub my eyes."Are we almost home?" I say leaning towards nick in the driver seat."About 40 or so minutes." He says while rolling his eyes."Youre the one who wanted to go" he says not taking his eyes off the road.I ignore him as I stare out the window at the moon.For some reason everytime I see it,it reminds me of the first time me and Adi hung out.
"The moon looks pretty.Doesnt it?" A 13 year old Adi says."Yea I guess.Im scared of the dark it helps me see a little when my windows open." I say plopping myself down onto the ground as he sat on my bed."Why are you scared of the dark?" He asks scooting down next to me."It's the unknown nobody likes the unknown."I say and swallow hard."I'll help you discover the unknown.You won't need the stupid moon anymore." He says as he stands up and closes the blinds.
I snap out of the flash back as Adi wakes up."damn I thought we'd be back home already." He says looking around."What are you doing?"I jump a little bit he doesn't seem to notice."I'm looking at the moon it looks really pretty tonight." I say smiling at Adi."Sure." He replies while laughing and looking out the window on his side.Im guessing he didn't get the reference or he would've said "yea I guess".As I feel the car stop."Where are we?" I say and tap nick on the shoulder.
"A hotel." He says pointing to the building
That had small windows but a lot of lighting."Why aren't we going home?" I say while opening the car door."We are going to run out of gas." He says and shrugs.I nod as we walk into the building and he gets a key.Im guessing this isn't a popular hotel because the hotels I've been to wouldn't just give you a key after you pay."You already bought the room?" I ask."No jojo got a job here." He says chuckling.
As we get a elevator to go up to the 16th floor.We go to our room and unlock the door.Its a two room hotel."I call a bed!" I shout out loud first."Me too!" Nick says.Adi rolls his eyes."I'll sleep on the couch I guess." "or with me." I reply quickly.Laughing to Cover it up.I lay in the bed as Adi follows me like a lost puppy."So what side you want?"Adi asks."Left." I say and lay down then cover up.He gets in bed with me and rolls over."Goodnight Bri." "Goodnight Adi"
