The Trail

Gumi's POV
I come out of my hiding to see a 5 foot male wolf on the floor, his guts ripped out. A bunch of others scattered, lying dead aswell....the work of the RedFountain Clan.
Sniffing, I look around to see who the culprit was but they had already escaped.
I sigh and walk back to my den with a bunny in my mouth.
As I walk I stumble apon a trail I've never seen before.
New trail..? Who made this?
I scan the area making sure it safe.
I don't see anyone but I put down the dead bunny and pick up a rock and throw it to see if there's any traps.
I throw the rock.
Nothing happens..
Ok I think im good, I pick up the bunny again and put it in the pouch my father gave me when I was a cub.
It seems to lead to my Clan.. Weird.
I walked a bit before discovering a small, shining object.
Confused, I walk over to it.
Its seems to be jewelry.
Clan jewelry.
Who would be dumb enough to drop this? I ask myself
I sit next to it and pick it up and put it in my bag.
I keep walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
I step into a pile of leaves.
WOOSH
I fall.
Looking up I see the night sky, it's about 5:48 am.
I hit the ground and go unconscious.

~time skip 8:29 am~

I wake up in...my clan nursery??
"How di-"
I get cut off by Winkle, "GUMI!!" she runs towards me.
"Winkle??"
"GUMI GUMI GUMI" she cries, "WE CAUGHT YOU!"
I giggle.
She licks my cheek and I hug her.
"Did you guys bring me back here?" I ask
"No...Hudson did! He told me to tell you he was sorry. He was doing some hunting and accidentally caught you"
"Ah.. Do you know where he is?"
Winkle shook her head, "No..hmm..maybe Frii does?"
I nod and attempt to get up, Winkle runs off.
The clan nurse ribs to me and sits me back down, "no no no! You need rest my dear"
"But im not injured..."
"Guess the pain meds have been working.."
"Wait wha-"
"You sprained your front, right paw, Im guessing you attempted to stop yourself when you landed, causing you to black out"
"Hmm.. Will i be able to go soon? I need to see Hudson"
"Aw.. I ship you guys so hard"
"Shush! Can i go...? Please??"
"Not yet let me give you a cast"
I nod and she goes to grab some bandages.
She comes over to me and wraps them on as I look through the crack in the door made of many assorted leaves and twigs.
I focus on a black wolf and I realized it was Shiro.
When nurse Nathalie was done I got up and ran out the door, of course, limping. I see Shiro play fighting with Shiva, his younger brother.
"SHIRO," I yell.
He smiles and pushes Shiva off of him.
I limp over to them, "Ayee"
"Ayee!" He hugs me, "I heard what happened, are you ok?" He grabbed my paw gently. He squeezed it slightly and I winced, "Oh sorry"
I smile, "Its ok"
He let's go of my paw and licks my cheek.
Shiro has always been like a twin brother to me since we are both 3 (21)
I smile, "Do you know where Hudson is?"
"I think he's by the river.. Why?"
"I need to ask him something and.. Thanks" I wink and say my good byes and Shiva goes back to playing with Shiro.
I waltz my way to the river and i come to an abrupt stop as i hear a scream.
"huh??" I look around in a panic and then I look up and see Pentle falling, "PENTLE!?!?" I scream
She smiles, "MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!!"
I hesitate but I move to the side and lands besides me
"Hey gurl hey!" She says laughing
I laugh aswell, "Exploring again I see?"
"Yep!" She tilted her head back to adjust her glasses.
"Wanna help me search for Hudson?"
Pentle laugh, "just wait here"
I give her a confused look and shrug, "uh ok?"
Thats when I heard another scream..
Oh No
"Pentle what have you gotten him int-"
BAM
I made a weird yelping sound as Hudson fell ontop of me, blushing he said, "ah.. Sorry Gumi"
I smile, "Its alright"
He moves and I get up shaking off as much dirt as possible.
Hudson sees my paw.. ;-;
"Gumi are you alright? When I found you out there I didnt think you got any wounds I-"
"Its ok Hudson.. Its only sprained," I say cutting him off, "Besides I needed to ask you something"
Hudson tilted his head
"Would you like to come over for dinner tonight? My treat" I say smiling
He smiles, "Ya sure!"
"Ok"
Pentle looks at me and smirks
I playfully roll my eyes, "well.. Bye see ya later Hudson!" and I walk away, Pentle following behind
