*Backstory*
Shawn and Samantha were best friends while growing up. When Shawn was 5 years old he had a new neighbor. That neighbor happened to be Samantha Williams!

They were like brother and sister. In about 4th or 5th grade Samantha got bullied. Luckily, she had Shawn!

He always stood up for her. And When he did that his popularity status went up because a really popular girl liked him.

He rejected her and she decided to make Sam's life Horrible because of Shawn. She was super jealous of Samantha. But middle school came and thankfully they went to different schools.

Middle school was a blur, nothing much had happened. Except that Sam started to develop feelings for Shawn.

He was oblivious to it and whenever she flirted with him, he took it as a friend way.

When they were in High school (freshman or junior?) Shawn sang for the school Talent show, little did he know that there was a Famous recording artist who saw potential in Shawn.

Shawn met up with him and he went on tour. On the last day before tour, Shawn and Sam promised eachother that they'll text and facetime eachother everyday.

Samantha still had feelings for him so after he left she cried for days.

Shawnie💕: Hey Sam! I'm sorry but I won't be able to text u everyday now. I'm super busy :(
Me: Oh okay... have fun! Good luck

"What?!" - Samantha
"Ur in my apartment..." -Shawn
"Uh wut? I am CONFUSION (A/N if you know this meme ily😂❤)
"Yeah here lemme show u the paperwork" -Shawn
*shows paperwork"
"Hm.. Wow wait did apply for this apartment online?" -Sam
"Yeah?" -Shawn
"Oh well I'm sorry to say this buttttttt you got catfished." -Sam
"WHAT?!" -Shawn
"Yeah... we met up with the owners and said on some websites they just make up the apartment and sell it online to gain money" - sam

Christina walks in

"OH MY GOSH NO WAY!!!" -Christina
"Hi" -Shawn
"IT'S SHAWN MENDES! AHH" -Christina
"Wait, Chris... I've never told u that Shawn was my best friend?" -Samantha
"DOES IT LOOK LIKE YOU TOLD ME?" -Christina
"I don't kno? No, I guess?" -Sam
"So..SHAWN,thesuperhotandtalentedguyrightinfrontofme, is ur BEST FRIEND?!" -Christina
"Pretty much...(not the boy band lolol)" -Samantha
"Uh guys, I'm right here haha" -Shawn
"Oh yeahhhh so if u need a place to stay, you can stay here!" -Christina and samantha 
"Wow really? Thanks so much!!"

*Timeskip/ Sam's pov*  ============================
I woke up to the smell of bacon frying and freshly made waffles. I got up and saw Shawn cooking.

He smiled at me and said "Hey Sammy💕" Instantly I got butterflies! I'm not sure if him being here will bring up old feelings...

I hope not because I need to focus on my real boyfriend, Jonah. Wait? Is Jonah even my boyfriend? What are we?

(A/N Okay so i forgot in the last book if he asked her out? So I'll just say they aren't lol) Then i heard a knock on the door.

In front of me was Jonah! My "boyfriend?"
"Hey Sa- OH MY GOSH! Is that Shawn mendes!??!" -Jonah
"Hehehe Yeah!... it's a long story" - Sam

"So Sam I'm going out to get some groceries... I'll see you later! I love you💗" -Shawn

I blushed at what he said and he gave me a hug :) ugh he was so sweet ♡Then from the corner of my eye I see Jonah, his face tinted a blush red.

He didn't seem embarrassed or happy... He looked jealous??
