A dandelion is classified as a weed. A nuisance. Unwanted. A dandelion is considered to be a weed because someone decided they did not like it. Someone decided that it was unfit for their garden, for it did not fit in. So, they pulled it out. They tore up its roots and never let it grow. It was a weed after all. No one wants a weed in their garden.
The dandelion had two choices. Remain a weed and let the gardener keep it down, or persist. The dandelion wanted to be more than a weed. It blossomed into a bright yellow and brought joy to the gardeners children. When its time as a beautiful flower was done, the dandelion let the children blow it away into the wind for its seed to be spread as it spread joy to the gardeners children.
Now, imagine this dandelion is a person, or rather, you. You grow to be part of an environment, and someone snuffs you out. They crush you and rip away every joy you have, had, and will have, or so they think. You, like the dandelion, have two choices; stay snuffed out and let the people trample you, or persist as the dandelion did.
If you choose to stay down, you will continue to be stepped on, then becoming the stepper. You will eventually get up, only to throw others on the ground. Or, you could get up right away. You could defy those who contradict you. Doing this will spread you confidence to others being trampled. You could get up, and inspire so many others to do so. Do not let someone consider you a weed.
