Chapter 1

   Hey ok so this is like my 3rd book and I will try to finish it but who knows. I hope u like it and comment please. Its always fun to read those. Oh and im sorry for spelling errors. Enjoy XD

   I woke up to the pitter patter of the water drops falling out of the sky outside my window. My eyelids felt like they weighed a ton, but I knew I had to get to work.

   I sat up and moved my purple blanket from my body and sat at the edge of the bed. Alex, my cousin, was laying on the floor half asleep.

    "You awake?" I asked.

"No." He groaned. I laughed a little. "C'mon, we have to get up. Mr Higgins wont like it if we were late." I told him. He groaned some more and got up lazily.

    We both got up and walked to little Sophie's room on the other side. Sophie is our other cousin and she does not like to be woken up, thats why it takes two of us to wake her up.

    We came inside and saw that she was on her bed, snoring her little heart out. We tiptoed to her and hovered our hands over her wrists. I mouthed 1...2.......3!!!!  "WAKE UP, SOPHIE!!!" We yelled as loud as we could. She tried to jump out but we held her down. "Oh you guys are so going to get it!" She yelled. "Run!!" I screamed. Me and Alex practically went flying out of the room as Sophie yelled.

   Sophie is a twelve year old who has massive lungs. I mean like seriously, that girl can scream.

    We ran all the way to the kitchen, which wasn't really that far. As soon as I entered, I smelled eggs, bacon, and waffles. "Mmmm, that smells good." I walked to my sister, Megan, and stood beside her. "Why are you cooking that?" I asked. "Oh, so you dont want some? Ok more for us." Megan joked.

"Wait no, I just ment, you never really cook these things."

"Yea well, I thought we needed something a little more better. Eating oatmeal for breakfast everyday kind of sucks." She laughed.

    "I call the bathroom!" I heard Alex yell from a distance. Wait. No! I need the bathroom first! I ran as fast as I could to the bathroom, slipping a frew times because of the wooden floor and my socks.

     Again, not that far. We lived in a small apartment, but it was in really good shape. We hardly had very much money with us but we are working hard so we can feed four mouths.

      I reached the bathroom only to find Alex standing outside of it.

"Sophie is in there." He said.

"But I thought you called it."

"I did, but Sophie beat me to it." 

     Sophie can also run as fast as she can scream.

     20 minutes later and she was out. "My turn!" I yelled and ran inside. I stripped naked, turned on the water on and got in. The hot water was really relaxing on my skin. I took 10 minutes and got out. As I was changing, I hear a loud knock on the bathroom door.

     "What is it!" I yelled.

"Hurry up in there! I have to go to work too you know!" Alex yelled. I laughed and quickly finished changing. When I opened the door, I saw an angry Alex facing me.

     "You took forever!"

"Dude, I onely took 15 minutes."

"Still."

"Just go and hurry up or we will all be late."

    I walked out of the bathroom as he walked in. I quickly brushed my hair and ran into the kitchen and sat at my spot at the breakfast table. Megan and Sophie were already sitting and eating breakfast when I got there. By the time I ate mine, Alex had gotten out of yhe shower with his uniform on.
