He was intriguing.
The energy she felt whenever he was near was electrifying. She could feel his heart, pounding in anticipation.

She could never understand how one person could be so many things.
Yet, she understood that he could.

He was the sort of person who radiated confidence in every aspect of what he did. He exulted a glow, so bright, so full of love, that he could be the one to initiate a summer storm.

She admired how his intelligence didn't get in the way of his demeanour. The way his smooth sounding voice projected words, each pending a tidy answer, although patient, questioning in a friendly way.
As he strode through the plain, head tilted up, never down his fascination was evident. She watched as he studied a falling leaf.

"Look how it descends. So fluid, so ready."

She wished so fervently. She knew they had a connection, she knew that their stars were aligned, in some universe. But she was low in her self, every ounce of once there self determination, exterminated through unfortunate experience.

How she longed for the ability to show how much she could truly care for him.
