He got out of the cinema hall and went towards his car. Soon a crowd of people gathered there. It was the premier of his 3rd movie as a superstar and 1st one as a playback singer, he had won millions of heart. Manik Malhotra, know renowned as MM now.

Photographers were taking his photographs and people hooted for him and he somehow managed to come out from the crowd and marched towards his car. After reaching home, he took a cool shower. As he wasn't feeling sleepy he checked hiss Facebook and Twitter accounts holding a bear mug in his left hand and tapping hiss laptop with his right.

He got bored seeing so much notification and messages. He so googled his name for some news. Just then his cell phone beeped.

"Buddy met with an accident, come to Alia's place now."

As soon as he completed reading Cabir's message, he rushed to Alia's residence. But when he reached there, it turned out to be a party place. When he confronted Cabir, he only shrugged.

"If we had asked you, you must have denied. So..."

Manik just gave him a light punch and smiled. Then all his friends came to him. Cabir was his dude, and Manik knew it very well it must be his plan to celebrate his success. Dhruv was his buddy. His cousin Mukti and other friends Alia and Navya congratulated him.

He never had a success party for himself and ot us always incomplete without her.

Everything is here, me, my success, my friends, everyone. But still there is something I am missing, thought Manik.

"We messaged but she didn't reply." Multi whispered in Manik's ears as she saw his eyes looking for someone. "I don't think she will come."

His face fell. But suddenly he felt a cool breeze passing touching his face and he turned back, only to see her standing.

The smoke, the noise, the music. They were never her cup of tea. Yet she was here, only for him. He had spoilt everything, but her heart refused to hate him. Not giving a glance to person who was gazing her intently, she walked quickly, to reach her friends who were waving their hands at her.

His eyes followed her throughout the way. They had been following her from past six and a half years, when she had walked through the door of their lecture hall on the first day of their university. They weren't in good terms during first few days of the college but still she had something which pulled him towards her. She was the love of his life now. She had become his everything. As she joined her friends, he watched them pulling her into bear hug. The speakers buzzed into the music familiar to him. It was his song; which he had dedicated to her, secretly.

A chuckle escaped his lips as the music hit him hard, bringing his numb mind alive once again. And he watched her eyes searching around her, for him. That simple gesture, to see him, skipped his heart, making him vulnerable, throwing all his resolutions out of the window of his heart and mind. And he fell in love with her, all over again. Her eyes met his, just as the space between them filled with lyrics of his brand new song. Crowd, their shouts and roars, applause, or their dance, the noise - everything faded away, leaving her and him with their love.

His heart was singing it for her, and it reached to her heart. They held their gaze, looking into each other's eyes. He could feel her eyes on him, tears filled eyes on him. He wanted to wipe off his agony and make her smile, tell her that they would have a wonderful life ahead. But he was unable to. It was his own mistake that he lost her. He never intended to, but he lost her. She would never forgive him. That thought killed him each passing second.

Someone pulled him towards the dance floor. He saw their friends circled her, urging her to dance with them. She loved him as much he loved her. Even more. And his mistake, his cowardice resulted their separation. Pushing everything aside, he stepped towards her, pulled her by her waist. That was the only moment he would have with her, even if it were for few minutes, he would take those moments. Her hands fell on his chest, her right palm just on his heart, as her eyes locked his.

A teardrop escaped from her eye and she didn't try to hide it as she always did. She showed her weakness to him. She showed her pain. He felt a needle pricking his heart to watch her in pain, inflicted by him. It was his actions that made her leave him. Now, he was a broken man, gazing in the eyes of the girl he loved, the girl who loved him, with nothing but agony.

"Are you fine?" He asked.

"You care?" She chuckled sarcastically.

"Nandini..."

"Manik, I know what you want to say, but my answer is still the same. You are much interested in your professional life and me in my personal. If you want me back, you have to take risk with your profession! What we are hiding Manik, is a very big part of our life and you know that!"

"I accept!" He cupped her face. "But you also try to understand, Nandini you know how have I worked hard to reach here. I don't run away from reality, I just want some more time."

"How much more Manik?" She asked removing his hand from her face. "Its been a year. People celebrate this day, and we... We guys are fighting."

He stopped at a corner of the floor, looked back over his shoulder to find their friends lost in the music and dance. He pinned her to the wall, his hands on her sides on the wall, trapping her.

"You know very well; what I want, I get that at any cost!" He said in a husky voice.

"You too know very well; I am not scared of your this attitude." She said in a stern voice.

He left her with a sigh.

"What I say, I mean it." Nandini said. "Give me what I want, you will get what you need!"

He stepped back and she left towards her friends.

"Happy Anniversary, Nandini" he sighed with a determination of getting her back in his life and making her fairytale marriage true.

He had to conceal this from everyone due to his Bollywood career and he couldn't risk with it as they say a married debudant may be unsuccessful. But he was confident that he would find a way to accept her as his wife in front of the world and it would not affect his career.
