Blood, Chocolate, and Smashed Rose petals

I woke up this morning and my head hurt really bad. I picked up my phone and saw that there were four missed calls, all from Ryan, and two text messages. The first one said, "I'm sorry! i didn't cheat, i swear!" and the second one said, "we cant be broken up." Well whatever, i had to do other things today. I leaped out of bed and noticed Blake was already awake and in the bathroom. I heard the shower water running. I looked through my suitcase for something to wear and i grabbed a jean skirt, a white T, and a blue striped cardigan. I slipped them on and smudged a little eyeliner on my eyes. Then i headed out. When i got to dining hall it was decorated with hearts and balloons, And a big sign that said happy valentines day. I totally forgot that today was valentines day. I got my breakfast and went to my seat beside Tracey, Then Blake walked in and all the girls started mouthwatering. Jeez. Have some dignity. when everyone was there the headmistress announced that they would be doing 'sweethearts'. Where you can buy a rose and send it to someone special. They would be sent to your dorms at 12:00am before curfew. She also announced that Blake would be singing his song Fangs that is now out in stores.All of the girls burst into applause. I ate my cereal and left. The rest of the day went by pretty fast. All of my classes were a breeze. When i got to my final class it was just vamp phys science. I had all of my work completed, so i raised my hand.

"Yes, ms.knight?" Mr.lankford asked.

"Can i go to the library since I've completed all of my work?" i asked. He nodded and i took my stuff and left.When i got to the library i found a computer and typed blood types. There was allot of links but one that especially caught my eye. 'Blood types are in all creatures vampire or human. It happened one day where a human named Maria Knight came to our scientist with a child with no blood type, we sent her to the vampires who did a blood presence ritual. They soon discovered that was a new blood type found scarcely any place in the world known as BP, it is useful to humans and vamps. If a human were to die the blood could bring them back to life.' I stopped reading thats what my mother told me when i was a kid, and human, that i had BP. I never understood it until now. Ealye and i had the same blood type. So he did have one! I closed out of the window on the screen and turned around and gasped.

"Oh my Leilah! You scared me so bad, Ealye!" i said a little breathless.There stood Ealye with his arms crossed over his chest.

"What were you doing?" he asked.

"A little research on my blood type. or should i say our blood type."

"Blake didn't..." he said.

"Yeah he did, and i am so glad he did, because now i know what my mother meant when she said i had BP." I smiled proudly. I was so happy. I grabbed my stuff. And started leaving, and he followed.

"Wait we have the same blood type! We actually have a blood type."

"Yep. BP." i said, "Its extremely rare."

"Thanks," he said sincerely. He grabbed my hand and twirled me around. He gave me a hug and kissed me right on my lips. It was a soft gentle kiss. It felt so good. But i couldn't do this. I resisted his brother and now him. I pulled away and walked off.

I was back at the dorm when Blake walked in. He smiled at me.

"I found out Ealye's blood type. He has BP just like me." I said smiling. I tossed his my notepad where i wrote down all the information He read all of it and smiled brilliantly at me. Then he tosses it back. I was reading over all of it.

"Wow, gre-" he got cut off by someone knocking on the door. He went over and opened the door. I was still reading when i heard Ryan say my name.

"Ryan! What the hell are you doing here?" i asked. He flashed me a smile and he had a dozen roses and a box of chocolate.

"I came to see my girlfriend on valentines day." he said. I saw Blake's shoulders slump as he closed the door behind him and sat down on his bed.

"What? I'm not your girlfriend anymore." i said, "I told you that on the phone already. And i also said to never come back here."

"I forgive you for cheating, so technically we are back together." he said as he laid the roses down on the bed beside me. "Hey, you, can you leave?" he asked Blake. I shot him a dirty look. I snarled at Ryan.

"Get out of here now! He isn't going anywhere this is his dorm too. I didn't cheat on you! I broke up with you because you cheated on me!! Now leave before i make you leave!" I almost yelled. I saw Blake get up. He crossed the room and grabbed Ryan by the arm. He slung him out of the room and closed the door. "If she says she doesn't want to talk to you then she doesn't want to talk to you!"

"thanks. That was really nice of y-" I got cut off by hearing a vampires voice at the door. I went over to open it and he handed me three roses, i laid them on my bed and closed the door. I picked the first one up, it read from 'Toby'. The second one was from professor Langford. And the last one was from Blake. I looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks." I said, "Professor Langford sent me a rose is that weird?"

"Yeah, Kinda." he said looking at me confused I laid on my bed and realized that there was something soft and bumpy under the blanket, i lifted it up and there were rose petals and a box of chocolate from Blake. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I picked up the chocolates, moved them and slid over onto one side of my bed, "Come lay down beside me." i said, at first his face looked surprised and then happy. He walked over to where i was and laid down beside me. "So, Is it weird having a brother like Ealye?"

"Not really." he said, "He is special and i like that about him. Thats also what i like about you."

"Thanks. So are you excited about your song Fangs?"i asked.

"Im nervous, i am supposed to sing it in front of the whole school tomorrow." he said.

"Well ill be there to listen so good luck." i said.

We kept on talking until eventually we both fell asleep. We both laid on my bed sleeping.

"Well valentines day had blood, chocolate and smashed rose petals." i muttered sleepily.
