Chapter 1: Good Night

Lucy's P.O.V

Its a little tiring..being someone everyone looks up to, always watching my every move. But I've been living like this my whole life. So it isn't that bad anymore.

"Hey Lucy what are you up to?" Lance comes through my window. Yeah I know that's really weird, coming through a girls window. But he does that everyday so I'm used to it.

"Same as usual dumb*ss" I flip my hair at him

"Hey! Language you little brat!" He says irritated.

"Hypocrite" I pout.

"Spoiled brat" He pouts back.

"Lucy? Do you know where Lance is?" Luke barges in my room.

"I don't know" I smirk.

"I can smell your blood Lance, come out" well we are vampires.

"Goddamnit that's not fair!" Lance pouts.

"*giggle* why are you always in my sisters room?" Luke says with a serious tone.

"I've been doing this for almost 18 years, now you Question it?" He raises his eye brow.

"*laugh* ohh you look so cute when you're serious" luke ruffles lance's fluffy hair >×<

"HA-HA-HA Very funny" Lance death glares luke.

"Oh c'mon take a joke lightly~ oh its almost dinner time!" Luke says excited for food.

"Lucy wanna go have dinner with me- I mean with my Family" Lance stutters.

"Sure? Is it ok lu--" I get cut off by seeing his face, luke was smirking he probably thinks we're dating or something.

"Yeah, I think I'll have dinner with you and your family" I say with a blank face.

*walking*

"What's with the face lucy?" Lance asks.

"Nothing, I'm just tired of pretending...everytime we're outside" I look down.

"Hey atleast you don't have to hide that much! You only have to cover your skin when there's sun and your fangs, but on the other hand I have to completely change my form" He complains.

"OK mom, you don't have to lecture me all the time" I joke.

"But its true though" he sighs.

"You're tired of it too? Right?" I ask, looking him in his (pretty) eyes.

"Of course I am Lucy" he says maintaining eye contact.

We both look away because of embarrassment.

"Can you stop that?" Lance looks away.

"Stop what?" I ask.

"Nevermind" he says, opening the entrance to his house.

"Hey Hunter, where's mom and dad?" Lance asks

"Hey where's fiona?" I ask.

"She's probably at work" Hunter smiles.

Why is hunter smiling at lucy??

I growl at him.

"Chill out bro, I'm not gonna take your Girlf---" I rush and cover his mouth before he could say anything.

"Haha hunter I think its time for you to call mom and dad" I glare at him.

"Yeah sure" he walks out.

I sigh to myself.

"What was he talking about?" Lucy asks. Oh no why is she so...cute.

"N-Nothing important" I look away blushing.

"C'mon lets go eat! I'm hungry~" she whines.

"Yeah, I have to walk you back later" I whisper to myself.

"You don't have to, I can take care of myself" She reassures me.

"No, Even if you can protect yourself. I'm still walking you home, even if you like it or not" I say, ruffling her hair.

"Don't treat me like a kid" she pouts.

"I can't help it, I always took care of you. And there's no harm in doing that" I smile at her.

"...Geez will you two stop being so lovey dovey?" Hunter Complains.

"Do you actually wanna die?" I threaten him.

"Do it" hunter smirks.

"Stop it" Lucy says, glaring at both of us.

"Sorry lucy, its his fault for always flirting with you~" hunter grabs onto lucy's arm.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Lucy blushes.

"Hey! Get away from her! You're way too close" I glare at hunter.

*hunter sticks his tongue out at lance*

"I will kill you, you piece of sh*t!" I chase him around.

"*sigh* boys lets just eat, luke will get mad if I go home late" she says with a blank stare.

"Y-yeah before he comes here himself" I sigh.

"Oh dear! Were you about to start dinner without us?" Mom giggles.

"Oh of course not Mrs. Everdeen" Lucy smiles.

"Lucy!" Fiona runs and hugs Lucy.

"I missed you lulu~" fiona gives lucy kisses.

"Geez, its only been a day since you saw her" I glare at fiona.

"So? I missed her, its not fair that you always see her!" Fiona pouts.

"Stop being so childish sis" hunter sighs.

"Lucy lets go home" I take her hand.

"Oh? What's this? Are they holding hands? Kyahh!" Fiona fangirls on her own.

"Ugh will you keep it down? I'm try'na sleep here" hunter gives her a death glare.

---outside---

Its pretty cold tonight, is Lucy ok?

"Hey Lucy? You cold?" I ask.

She nods her head.

*takes off jacket*

"Here, you can use my jacket." I smile.

"How about you?" She says worried

"Its fine, I'll just transform into my wolf form" I say confidently.

"What if someone sees you?" She asks.

"Pretend you're walking a dog" I wink at her.

She blushes in return.

"Besides its not far from here, its literally just the back of our house" I laugh.

"That's still pretty far, since we have to take another route" she says.

"LUCY BLOODREIGN! WHY ARE YOU SO LATE?" Luke fake cries.

"Its not even half past 8 you idiot" She says blankly.

"I'll go now, Bye luke" I wave at them.

"Goodnight"
