I was looking at the ceiling of my room and looked over a Damon who had fallen asleep in my room. I didn't care until know, cause I was sick to my stomach. I guess that's part of my hangovers. I groaned as I felt another round coming up. I got up and ran to the bathroom and up chucked. I groaned as I did it again. I didn't see how I had anything left to throw up. I groaned and sat back against the wall. There was a knock on the door.
"What?" I croaked and coughed. I heard another knock.
"Alice are you alright?" Damon asked knocking on the door. i got up and opened the door and looked at him. It was almost 6AM and I wasn't going to school like this. He put his hand on my cheek and he tilted his head o the side and I chuckled and my stomach twisted. I groaned and whirrled around and dropped to my knees repeating the process. When I was finished I flushed and Damon was gone. I rolled my eyes what a wimp. That thought changed when he came back in with my tooth brush and toothpaste and a hairband. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Thanks," I croaked and put my hair in a bun and leaned over the sink rocking back and forth. I groaned and tilted forward and rested my head on the sink. Damon walked over and stroked my hand and I turned and sat on the ground. He sat next to me and held my hand gently. Probably so that if I had to throw up again I could without putting up a fight to get my hand free.
"You know you could've just said you didn't feel well then just puke," he said in a joking tone. I laughed lightly and leaned on his shoulder.
"I haven't seen you in awhile except for yesterday," I said and he smiled. "Where have you been?" I asked him looking at him. He smiled and laughed.
"I've been you know getting drunk, lots of alcohol and that's really it hiding out," he said at the mention of alcohol I lurched forward and threw up again. "Sorry," he said when I sat back down after flushing the toilet.
DAMON'S PROV
She was sick that's all I could tell. I knew that from yesterday she had a lot of control over alcohol. I was a little worried yesterday after seeing her know that that girl was a vampire. I didn't know how she knew, but she did. I was sitting downstairs waiting for Jenna to come down stairs to tell her Alice was sick. I was sitting there when Jeremy came down the stairs.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coming to sit across from me. I shrugged and sighed when he looked annoyed.
"I'll helping Alice she's sick," I said to him. He nodded and I let my thoughts wander. I heard the patter of feet steps running across the floor upstairs and I shoot out of my seat and ran upstairs. Jeremy was left staring at me. When I got to the bathroom she was still in the middle of this round. I went up to her a rubbed her shoulder. She had gotten worse within minutes. Her pale skin looked like a pasty white, and she looked clammy, sweaty. I helped her stand up and rinse her mouth out.
"You okay," I asked and she nodded. It was a weak looking nod. I sighed and left her in the bathroom. I ran downstairs got a bucket from under the sink and ran upstairs and sat it next to the bed. I went to the bathroom got a cup of water and set it on her nightstand. I ran back into the bathroom and picked up Alice and she just let her head roll to the side. I set her on the bed and went downstairs. I was starting to worry she was getting bad. I paced the room while Jeremy watched.
"How is she?" he asked and I looked worriedly at him. He took that as a bad sign. "Shouldn't we take her to the hospital?" Jeremy asked. I shook my head and looked at him.
"No, we can't," I said and looked upstairs and groaned she had to get better. I heard footsteps come down the stairs and Elena walked in.
"Damon what are you going here?" she asked bitterly.
"Alice is sick," I said and started pacing again.
"And you care why? It's not like you love her," Elena said angrily. I froze did I love her? I felt something for her, but was it love?
"I think I do love her," I said turning to Elena. "Fire up your car and wake up Jenna we are taking her the hospital," I said and Jeremy nodded going upstairs, Elena grabbed some keys and walked outside, I walked upstairs and retrevied Alice. When I got downstairs with Alice and the bucket Jenna, Jeremy, and Elena where waiting for me and Alice.
"Oh, my god you weren't joking!" Elena said. Jenna gasped and Jeremy stared wide eyed.
"C'mon guys," I said and walked out the door with Alice and the bucket. Jenna opened the door and got in the drivers side, Elena in front, and Jeremy in the back with me. I laid Alice's feet on Jeremy as she weakly looked at me, I smiled wich she attepmted to return and faild. I laid her head on my lap and stroked the side of her face gentely.
I've at the hospital all day waiting for the test results of Alice. I was sitting in the room holding her hand. She groaned and tried to roll over but gave up after a feww minutes. I stood up and helped her roll over. She looked at me and smiled slightly.
"What are you doing here?" she asked looking at me. Her voice sounded so weak I sat back down next to her and smiled.
"I'm here for you silly," I said and played with her fingers. She groaned and rolled her head to look away. She started looking a little green so I picked up the bucket they gave me for her and set it in her lap and helped her sir forward. She threw up and groaned trying to sit back. I gently set her back. She smiled slightly at me. I rubbed her hand and hummed a song my mother used to hum all the time. She smiled and her eyes closed and she tried to hum along, failing. I chuckled and when she opened her eyesshe was glaring. I held one of my hands in surrender. The doctor came in and I stood up and walked over to him and he looked at the paper sadly. I smashed my brows together, what was wrong with her. He motioned for me to follow him into the hall so I did.
"What's wrong?" I asked looking at him desprate for an awnser. He took a deep breath and sighed looking me in the eye.
"She had a minor case of acohol poisioning," he said, wait he said a HAD a minor case.
"Had?" I asked him he smiled slightly.
"She vomitted all the acohol, so she's fine there, but..... is she a regular drinker?" he asked. I shrugged I didn't know, by how she acterd yesterday, I think maybe.
"Maybe, why?" I aske he sighed.
"She has become allergic to acohol, and it only happens to a person who over drinks all the time," he said looking at her and sighing. "We are going to give you guys a few special Epi pens for this allergy," he said, and I nodded. He looked at her and nodded for me to fallow.
"Whats wrong with me doc?" I heard her croak. I walked up to hold her hand, the doctor sighed.
"First you had alcohol poisioning, which is gone now, but you are allergic to alcohol, do you drink alot?" the doctor asked. She sighed and nodded. The doctor nodded and looked at her as she looked up at me weakly. "I suggest you stop drinking for a while then you after a while you drink acohol again. But for those times you forget, you'll have epi pens," Alice nodded and looked at me shyly. SHe was blushing and it showed just how pale she really was. The doctor pulled out an epi pen and told her how to use it. He then stuck it in her arm and injected it, then left.
"If she isn't better by tommarrow bring her back," the doctor said and I nodded she would be fine! I smiled and put my head next to her. I slowly fell asleep as did she.
