Memories of You [Poetry]

seeing you again induced a surge
of thoughts I've tried to hide
the feelings I'm unable to purge
and emotions I can't describe

somehow, hours flew by like minutes
and minutes felt like a second's pace
but each second seemed vastly increased
as if the whole earth just stood in place
