Day 2Last night I slept on our couch because I couldn't bring myself to sleep next to Jesse no matter how many times he told me it was fine. I can't believe im married to him now.
Yesterday when we walked to the house it looked like I was in some book but as soon as we walked in the house it started to look normal. The ground had a grass and stone to make it look just like the outside but it still looked weird to me. There was even grass yards outside the front of the houses. Out back the house is a fenced yard and a picnic table for outside eating. I wonder how much money it was to build one house. The inside is two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. It's small but duable.
In the kitchen they were smart and didn't give us a stove or oven but they did give us a fridge and sink. We can keep all kinds of foods, even meat but if we want to eat something that requires heat then we have to go to the cafe and pay to have it cooked. Or we can just pay for pre made food that I think most of the grade is going to be doing.
Today, however we get to meet our new child. Jesse is dressed like normal but I put on casual but formal clothes.
Jesse didn't even try at all with his leather jacket and untucked shirt with jeans that don't even match. Even thought I might not have much fashion sense at least I know that isn't fashionable.
While I'm cleaning up the room and making sure the childs bedroom is perfect there is a knock on the door. I run to open it before Jesse does but in too late he did first. I'm right behind him though. The child is a small girl about 5 years old. She is hidden behind a woman that looks like she works in an office building. "Come on in guys. Plenty of room." I say in the nicest voice I can have and move aside to give them room.
They enter and walk to the living room.Behind both of them is another young girl. Jesse and I give each other weird looks as saying to each other 'what the heck'. In his mind there is a replacement word for heck but oh well. We walk to the living room to company them on the couches. My heels click on the floor annoying Jesse to the best of my ability. I figured out yesterday he doesn't like the sound of high heels.
"So Keeley and Jesse this is Zoey and Faith. They are sisters from the orphanage and they requested not to be separated. We looked at grades in the class that was mandatory last year and you had the highest grade Keeley so we decided that you two would be fit for caring for two children. It will be a little difficult we know so that is why we are going to give you a slip of paper. This will tell whatever job you guys might choose that you get double pay for double the child." The lady explains to us as we look as confused as ever.
Maybe this won't be a bad thing. I know I'm definitely ready for two children but I don't know if Jesse could handle living with 3 girls. "Can I take my wife over here to go discuss this like adults real quick? We won't be long I promise" Jesse charms his way as always. "Of course no problem. Take your time we will still be here when you get back. You two can certainly decline the offer if you want it's up to you."
We both say thank you and take our way to the bedroom we are going to share.
"I'm going to go crazy if I have to live with 3 girls in the same house for an entire year Keeley." I knew it.
"Okay but think about it they are sisters and they can't be separated. Who else do you think would be fit enough to deal with 2 girls? This school is full of immature assholes, excuse my language but it's true. And it's not like your going to be stuck with them all the time. You have to get a job too and when I'm off work you can even leave them with me and go hang with your gang of friends." No I don't want to be stuck with them either but I would rather loose sleep than leave them constantly with Jesse.
