Jakob's POV
I woke up all excited. I finally have a house! I finally have friends! I finally found my place in this world! I ate some bread for breakfast. I grabbed my enchanted bow and 64 arrows. Eh, I'll just take 30 more just in case. I brought some food and potions with me. And an extra plain bow.
I climbed down the ladders of my house after the remaining monsters burned away. I ran straight to Nina's house. People may think I like like her, but I don't. She's just the first peraon here who has acted nice towards me. Her and Leo are perfect together. I knocked on her door and waited a couple seconds.
"Yes?" Nina opened her iron door.
"Ready to kick Herobrine's butt?" I asked, smiling.
"Now that's scary! That sounds like something Dylan would say, but not you. Come on in," she laughed.
We went in and we went upstairs. Her bedroom was spacious and very tidy. She had her swords displayed on the wall over her chests. She had light pink carpeting and a double bed.
"Here's your armor. It may feel heavy at first but you'll get use to it after a bit. I have my stuff all packed and ready to go. I have my sword, a spare, food, armor, and a couple potions." she stated.
"Cool. Same here. And I brought 94 arrows." I said.
"Come on. We'll gather everyone up and then we'll get ready to go. This will be a fun trip." Nina said sarcastically, even though I knew she thought it'd be cool to defeat Herobrine.
"Where do you reckon Herobrine is?" I asked.
Okay, I've only been in this world for about two in a half weeks. I am still learning new things every now and then. And I still don't know a lot of places and stuff. I hope to learn more.
"Probably the Nethers. It's where Herobrine usually is. That's what Dylan told me once." Nina shrugged.
I just nodded. The Nethers? Yes, I've read about that in a book. You travel through a certain portal. They say there's millions of mobs down there and you could easily die from the lava. Plus it's really hot and dim in there. I doubt we'll last long in there.
We went outside and first we got Dylan, then Leo, then Mia, and lastly Chooky. We all were wearing armor and had our weapons out. It's just Herobrine vs the six of us. Thankfully, Leo also used a bow sometimes. I wish I could learn how to use a sword. But Leo said he was decent with a budder sword.
"Okay guys, we have to make a portal." Chooky said.
Dylan groaned the same time I said yeah!
"Let's team up. Leo and Nina together, Chooky and Mia, then me and Jakob. Let's split up and look for what we need to make a portal," Dylan said.
We all nodded and separated. I was with Dylan. And I heard he's the best swordsman out here. Cool! We were just looking when we heard a shout. We all rushed towards the noise.
"Look! Chooky was able to make the portal!" Mia yelled as she was jumping up and down, bubbling with excitement.
"Let's go guys!" Leo yelled.
He grabbed Nina's hand and they jumped in togethed. Mia shrugged and went in after. Chooky did a back flip into it. I was scared of what the other side would look on like.
"Go!" Dylan said and pushed me in.
"AAAUUUGHH!" I screeched.
Thanks a lot, Dylan! It turned into purplish tunnel waves things. I felt super dizzy and light headed. Then I fell on top of someone. It was Chooky.
"Ow! Get off of me," Chooky shoved me off, "This is just like the time we all died and spawned on top of each other."
We got up and out of the way just as Dylan fell. I finally looked around at my surrounding. I gulped as I trembled. We were in the Nethers. And there were ghasts and lava and fire everwhere. It won't be too soon before some sort of mob see us and attacks.
"Uh, guys? Where to now?" I asked as I turned towards them.
"Oh Notch! We're actually here," Mia smiled faintly.
"I've always tried to get here. I heard there was a portal to escape this world in here." Nina muttered.
"Well, look out for Herobrine and mobs. We'll have to kill both. Come on, then." Dylan said as he started walking towards a hill.
"Watch your step so you don't fall into lava." Leo called out.
I took my bow out and started to follow Dylan. We all were very quiet and slow. I heard falling into lava is very painful. I don't plan to die that way.
"I forgot to mention, guys. Uh, if you die in here, you, um, well..... don't respawn. Just the rules in this world," Chooky said nervously.
"Oh poop!" Mia said.
We all were extremely careful after that small comment. Then we heard a yelp. I looked up and saw Dylan was in a fight with a flying, fire shooting ghast. Good thing I brought my bow. I shot that thing down. Easy peasy.
"Good job, Jakob!" Dylan slapped my back.
I tried to keep a smile, but this wasn't a happy place. And it was sooooo hot! I wiped my sweaty forehead with my sweaty hands. I fanned the air with my hands. As if that'd help.
We continued to walk until we saw a door made of obsidian. Whoa! It had a lock on it. How are we suppose to get in? Who knows, really?
