Age of Gods and Beasts

Chapter 1: The Beginning

In a faraway area of the universe, not yet discovered by humans, there was a large planet. The planet was home to many species of plants and animals, some only thought to exist in children's stories and legends. The planet also had two large moons, one home to an advanced human race called Celestials and the other home to demons, ghouls and other vile creatures. This moon was called the Death Realm. Four beings ruled over it. Dementia, the goddess of death and the incarnation of the sin of Pride. Fang, the king of vampires and the lord of war and domination. Nyx, the lady of souls and the queen of tears and sorrow. The fourth being is unknown, but known to be very powerful. Dementia has five other sisters, the sisters of sin. Asphodel, the incarnation of Lust. Cleo and Nala, the twins of Greed and Envy. The Widower, the spider queen of Sloth and Gluttony. And the most powerful is the incarnation of Wrath, Lilith. And the other moon has no name, but the native people worship five goddesses. Eris, the goddess of destruction and power. Manachi, the goddess of the Hunt and beasts. Tenebra, the goddess of night and magic. Lux, the goddess of the sun and justice. And Ataria, the goddess of beauty and love. The two moons were natural enemies, but had no way to fight each other. The Celestials prayed to their goddesses to allow another goddess into their circle, one who can manifest a physical form. They got their wish, albeit in a strange way. Lilith, the sin of Wrath, was starting to see the error of her ways and prayed to the Celestial goddesses for help. They cleansed her soul and gave her the role of high goddess. She was no longer Lilith, she was now Mirage, the goddess of life and all creation. She joined the circle and the five became six. With her new powers she created a new home for the Celestials. A city of floating islands, where Celestials and half-humans can live in harmony. This place was named the Celestial Domain. Mirage ruled over this place as queen and was named the Celestial Mother. Three half humans served her. Lupa, a werewolf, as her body guard. Koji, a kitsune, as her royal advisor. And Dove, a half-bird, as her maid. All seemed well, but Mirages decison would soon start an all out war between her and her older sister, Dementia.
