Charlie's POV
Finally the bell rang.
I was the first one out of the room, I wanted to be there before her.
As I was going down the hallway someone grabbed my arm and turned me around to face them, and of course it was the principle probably just gonna get I to me for going so fast through the crowded hallway or something.
He pulled me into his office and told me something I couldn't focus on, I was to busy thinking about Kayleigh.
I was brought back to what was going on when someone knocked on the door, he told me to go back to class and I followed his orders.
I'm stubborn and wanted to get to the lockers before the tardy bell so I was running full speed, but watching where I was going so that I didn't run into someone.
I made it there but the bell ran when I walked up to her, she was smiling wide, not a fake smile either. just seeing her smile made me smile from ear to ear.
"Hey, sorry I wasn't here earlier, the principle called me into his office about something." I said to her as I walked closer to her.
