Lumine x Kody oneshots

~The carnival~

Yes I know I'm working on another story right now but I really wanna do these one shots so IT'S HAPPENING. 

   It was a couple weeks after Kody got out of the hospital and Aiden decided he wanted them all to celebrate much to Kody's protest. Lumine on the other hand was very excited. He skipped into Kody's room happily. "Kody! Wake up! We're going to the carnival today!" Lumine said excitedly. The reason Lumine was so excited is because he had never been to a carnival so this would be his first time. "Five more minutes.." Kody mumbled pulling the pillow over his head. Suddenly as soon as he pulled the pillows and blankets back over his head he felt a heavy weight on his bed and something pulled away the covers. 

 Kody looked and saw the culprit. It was Lumine. He sat on the bed in his werewolf form excitedly wagging his tail. "Cute.." Kody thought to himself but then panicked as he realized what he thought. "No Kody stop thinking like that.." He managed to push all thoughts of Lumine to back of his mind and pushed Lumine out of the room so he could get ready. A couple minutes later he walked out of his room dressed in a hoodie and jeans with some converse. He walked downstairs to where Lumine was eating some french toast. He quickly finished his french toast and ran over to Kody. 

 "We're not leaving yet you didn't need to eat so quick." He said slightly amused by Lumine's excitement which he found himself a bit weird for thinking. Usually he found it annoying but lately he had been finding it kind of adorable. It scared him. He usually blocked out any sort of emotion he might have for anyone.

 The closest someone had gotten to him before Lumine was Elijah...and well we all know how that went. "I know! I just wanna be ready!" Lumine said his tail wagging a bit. There it was again. That warm feeling he got in his chest whenever Lumine did something like smile or even just be around him. He had only just begun to accept the fact that he might have a crush on Lumine. At first he kept denying it telling himself to ignore and block out the feeling and it would pass. It didn't. He only began to accept when they he and Calla had been captured and Lumine came and saved them. That had shown Kody that Lumine really did care but he hated himself that Lumine had almost gotten killed just proving it. He hated himself for that. He had nightmares about it and when Lumine and his dad would ask he just brushed it off. He didn't want them to worry. He would be fine. 

He always has been. Right? Anyways back to the present. Enough of the past. "Kody can we go now? Pleasee??" Lumine asked and just as he was about to tell Lumine to wait a bit longer Lumine did something absolutely treacherous. He gave Kody the puppy dog eyes. Usually if it were other people it would not have worked but Lumine was not other people. "Fine..I'll go tell my dad." Kody said caving. "Yayy!!! Thank you Kody!" Lumine said hugging Kody happily. Kody lightly pushed Lumine off him. "Yeah...whatever."

 He said walking to get his dad. He walked up to Aiden who was talking animatedly with Sherry who sat there and seemed like she was trying to seem like she was listening but failing miserably at it. "Hey Dad can you drive us to the carnival now?" Kody asked. "Sure! I'm surprised you want to leave so soon though!" Aiden said. "Oh..Lumine wants to go now since he's never been." Kody said keeping his voice and face void of emotion. "That's odd you usually don't care what others want Kody. Is it possible you're finally opening up to someone! I'm so proud!" Aiden said cheerfully and proceeded to hug his son. 

"Let me go." Kody said. "You're not denying anything!" Aiden said but let go of him. Kody looked a bit annoyed but just chose to walk away. "Well we better get going then!" Aiden said and walked to the front entrance where Kody and Lumine where waiting. Lumine talked excitedly about all the rides he wanted to go on while Kody quietly listened and tried to act annoyed but failed miserably at it. They then all got in the car where Kody sat next to the window and Lumine sitting next to him fell asleep. Somehow while Lumine was asleep he ended up snuggling up to Kody. Aiden noticed and began to tease Kody about it and Kody promptly told him to shut up.
