Story 5 - Haunted House Problems

After I repaired the ringmaster projector, I turned it back on as Zorch sat down on the bean bag chair.  I set the projector back to the map and searched carefully for another location that has the answers.  I saw the abandoned location that is located at the Cubit Lake.  It is named "The Gearson Mansion".  Zorch got off the chair and looked at the mansion on the map that I am looking at.

"They're waiting.  Be careful." He murmured.

"They?  Who are they?" I asked puzzled.

"Cragster Cipher and his henchmen.  That's who." Zorch replied.

I am not sure if anyone lives in this old place.  Why?  Why would Zorch tell me that someone or something lives here?  I hopped into my car and drove way to the Slimitti Mansion.  I was wondering how Snotrina was doing.  When I arrived to the Slimitti Mansion, I saw Cobrax sitting on the outdoor couch on the front porch with Glomp, chatting.  I hopped out of my car and walked up to them.

"Hey guys." I greeted.

"Hey, Volectro.  How are you doing?" Cobrax asked.

"Well.  I gotta tell you something." I said.

"What is it?" Cobrax asked.

"I was looking for a location that has answers, and I just found it." I answered.

Meanwhile, Booger gave Snotrina a kiss on the head and then sat in his bed.  He turned his T.V. on and changed the channel to a kids show.  As he set the remote down, a pocket knife is sitting on his nightstand.  That wasn't there before, was it? he thought.  He picked it up and opened it.  It is super sharp with the sunlight shining off it.  He heard someone talking to him.

"Hello, Booger!  Are you ready to make it a better day?"

It was the kids on the T.V.  Why are there be kids on TV talking to him?  How did they know his name?  How did they know he was here?

"Come on, Booger!  It's gonna be fun!  Kill her!" The Infernite kid taunted.

"Kill her!  Kill her!  Kill her!" They shouted repeatedly.

Booger felt terrified as the kids kept repeating "Kill her!".  He saw something in the background grinning at him.  The Cragster being looked like he wanted him to kill Snotrina too.  Booger threw down the pocket knife and shut the T.V. off.  As he turned to see Snotrina, she was gone.  He ran around the house calling out her name.  As I chatted with Cobrax and Glomp, he bursted out the front door with the wortied look on his face.

"Are you missing something?" I asked him.

"Snotrina!  She's gone!" Booger cried.  As he stepped off the porch and looked up, he gasped and ran back into the house.  What was up there? I thought.  I stepped off the porch and up like he did.  Up there, Snotrina is sitting on the roof.

"What is it?" Cobrax asked.

"Snotrina is on the roof!" I yelled.

"She is what?!" Cobrax gasped.

As we both ran into the house, Booger crawled onto the rooftop and reached up to her.

"Snotrina, please!  Don't fall!  I'm here!" Booger cried.  He was about to reach her but a strange force pulled her away from him.  Cobrax crawled through the window from Gurggle and Glomp's bedroom as I opened the third floor window and crawled right through.  I held out my hand just to catch her.  As Snotrina was pushed off the roof, Booger caught her by the feet but got pushed off the roof too.  Something caught him around the neck and began choking him.  I saw what it is.  It was a noose and Booger is trying to get himself free.  As he stopped breathing and his eye rolled up, his hands opened and dropped Snotrina.  I quickly caught her with both hands as I fell and slammed onto the front porch roof on my back, protecting her from injuries.
