Backstory: Jacob was adopted by the king when his father murdered his mother after finding out she was secretly an elf by looking at Jacob's ears when he was born. Jacob grew up. His father was abusive. He would always escape to see his friend named Lorianna. Lorianna didn't tell Jacob about her problems and at age 8, she killed herself. Or did she? the night of her funeral, Jacob's father had noticed he came home late again. "Boy, you're dead!" He grabbed Jacob's arm and threw him against the wall of of his small cottage. Jacob luckily landed near the door and ran for it! He ran towards this strangely large beautiful building. The gate was open, so he ran through the gate and ran straight into the King. The king laughed and looked at the boy's tears in his eyes. He quickly stopped laughing and asked Jacob what was the matter. Jacob opened up and the king felt bad. The king decided that he would adopt him (straight forward cause why not?) and life has gone on from there... until just a week ago where the king and queen has gone missing... Jacob is in distraught and angry at the world.
