I have a friend, who is very self conscious and doesn't think much of herself.
She probably won't ever read this,
but there are things I want you to know.
You are amazing, passionate, loved.
I could write so much more but that would take all day.
You form your own opinions, despite of what your family is like.
You find happiness in making others feel valued,
you stand up for others, whether you know them or not.
You are smart, beautiful, caring.
You have gone through many ups and downs and you are strong because of them.
You have been treated badly, and yet you still see the best in others.
You listen.
You make people feel like they are important, that they matter.
You are funny.
I have not once, in my ten years of knowing you, seen you fail in making someone smile or laugh every single day.
You are humble.
You don't ask for help a lot, and you don't expect anything in return after helping someone.
You are uplifting.
You make me feel like I am good at writing, speaking, existing.
You are mature.
You do not get angered easily when having an argument or conversation.
You listen to the other's opinion respectfully.
You are loved.
By so many. Especially me, if I count.
You are a teacher.
You have taught me to love myself,
believe in myself,
and be confident in myself.
Most of all, you exist.
And that is pretty damn amazing.
I could not imagine a world without you in it.
I am so thankful to call you my friend.
I love you trouble, and I will never stop supporting you.
