Chapter 4

"Oi! Where do you think you're going?Didn't I tell you not to forget?" shouts Zayn.

"Shit" I whisper as I increase my speed. C'mon, almost there I tell myself. I just pass an alley way when I feel someone grab me from behind.

"Ah, there you are" Zayn forces me against the wall. He holds me there by my throat. Hard. I try to claw my nails down his arm to get him to stop, but it doesn't faze him.

"P-please....can't b-breath" I choke out. The lack of oxygen making my fingers cold and numb.

"Shut the fuck up! I told you to stay put, but no! You had to run away like a little bitch. You've just made it harder for yourself" I flinch at the venom in his voice. His hold gets even tighter around my neck.

"Hey, Zayn, maybe you should stop. She doesn't look that good. Just let her go mate, she isn't worth it" Louis says.

I feel Zayn let go and turn to face Louis. I fall to the ground, coughing. Tears are falling down my face as I try to breath in and out. Oh no, not again. And I forgot my inhaler. Great. My vision becomes covered with black spots. I feel as if someone is sitting on my chest. Really heavy and I'm not able to take in much air.

While trying to steady myself, I forget that Zayn and Louis are still here. I look up and see them in a heated conversation. I, very slowly and quietly, try to crawl away. My hand hits a rock and it goes skidding out of the alley way. Zayn and Louis snap their heads up.

Zayn chuckles very darkly as he picks me up and slaps me across the face. My head snaps to the side by the force of his blow. I fall back down and hold my cheek. I am crying even more harder now.

"Please stop, leave me alone" Zayn just smirks and picks me up again. Louis comes up and holds me up against the wall as Zayn throws a punch into my stomach. All I can do is groan. My eyesight fades in an out. I feel another blow to my stomach. One, two, three more.

"Hey, what the fuck do you think you're doing over there?" Zayn stops and Louis lets me go. I fall to the ground and curl into a ball.

All I hear is a struggle, but I focus more on trying to stay awake. I hear the shuffling stop and I look up to see a blurry figure standing above me. I cry out and try to shield myself from another blow.

"Shh, everything's alright love. You're safe now" I hear the man say.

All I have time to do is say, "help me" as I fade into darkness.
