"I hate this, Yoongi. Seriously, I just hate this." Jungkook growled under his breath. He ran a hand through his hair, messing up the carefully placed dark strands. The older shot him a dark look, and Jungkook shrugged it off as he sank down onto their apartment couch. His head was in his hands.
"I told you not to go out with her," Yoongi sang. The microwave beeped and the boy took out his pizza rolls with smug glee. "You're not straight, Jungkook, I don't know why you keep trying to prove to yourself that you are."
"I hate you."
"Uh huh."
"Really, I hate you."
"Mhm."
Jungkook groaned again, the image of the perky blond girl was glued to the back of his eyes. He had met her at a coffee shop stopping by on his way to the gym. She had an incredibly fun personality and they got along almost instantly. So when she asked if he'd like to go to dinner with her, he didn't hesitate to say yes.
Jungkook spent hours getting ready, nervous for their first date. It's not as if he's never dated in the past, but each one always ended in a mess. He's never had a girlfriend who's lasted longer than three dates. Each one was too sexual, or had an odd laugh, or would be excruciating boring. Sometimes Jungkook would simply be watching tv like Teen Wolf and find himself wishing for someone like Stiles.
Because Dylan O'brien is one fine man.
Jungkook recalled as he picked up the coffee lady from her home. It was near the city so it wasn't too far of a drive from his own apartment which he shared with his roommate, Yoongi. She was kind enough. Beautiful, with a sparkling blue dress that had lace decorated sleeves and a tight bodice that flooded out at the waist. Jungkook took her by the arm and the drive to the restaurant had been really pleasant. The two of them fell into an easy going humor.
Then she put her arm on his thigh, and Jungkook's entire body froze. He couldn't explain it, but it was like tiny warning shots running through his system. He gave her an uncomfortable smile, and pulled into the restaurant.
It all went down hill from there. The woman was really nice, which made it worse. Jungkook didn't actually have a reason to dislike her, other than each time she flirted or went outside the friend zone Jungkook would get increasingly more uncomfortable.
When she tried to kiss him after he dropped her off, Jungkook did the doucheist thing he could think of. He put his hand between their lips, turned around, and ran.
"You're not straight, Jungkook." Yoongi laughed while stuffing pizza rolls into his mouth at Jungkook's story. "Look, I can prove it to you."
"I'm not kissing you."
"Oh God no," Yoongi replied, almost genuinely appalled. "That would be disgusting."
"But you're gay."
"That's the most insensitive thing is ever heard you say." Yoongi said slowly with a tone that Jungkook only heard him use when his jokes bended on the more tight humor side. "Kook, just because I'm gay doesn't mean I'm sexually attracted to every male in my life. Besides, Deliveree Boys keep me occupied enough."
"Delivery what?"
Yoongi's eyes went wide, and this slow sly smile began to spread across his face. He shoved the plate of pizza rolls at Jungkook and ran to go get his laptop. All the while, Jungkook just wanted to shower and go to sleep, but the giddiness in Yoongi made him too curious to move.
When he came back, Yoongi sat down on the couch next to Jungkook with the laptop set atop his lap. He gave Jungkook an excited side eye as he began to pull up a webpage which was already starred as a favorite.
"I'm going to set you up an account."
"An account? On what?"
"Shhhh, my recently proclaimed definitely not straight friend. Sit back and let the magic happen."
Jungkook gave Yoongi a weary look, but the older began to type in his information and email to create him a profile on the unknown site with overused teal aesthetic.
"What do you want your username to be? BabyBoyKook? SweetMoansKookies? BoySexWonder-"
"Yoongi! What the hell?!"
"What? It's a not so innocent delivery service site, what did you expect?"
"Nothing because you told me nothing!"
"Okay okay, I'll just put Kookie."
"Which Boy? What about Kim Taehyung, I feel like the two of you would be cute together."
Jungkook scrolled through the options, his eye catching a boy who's smile seemed to light up the entire world, yet his gaze was one which could pull down the night sky. "Him," Jungkook said pointing at Park Jimin, "definitely."
"Are you sure? I've heard good reviews for Kim Taehyung-"
"If I'm not straight, then that's the boy who I want to prove it to me."
Yoongi laughed at that and shook his head, handing the laptop to Jungkook for him to begin to fill out the rest. His cheeks were red as he did it, and it didn't help that Yoongi was sitting right next to him giddy with excitement for his friend.
"What time?"
"Do the surprise option."
"What? No?"
"Just do it."
"Nikey?"
"Shut up."
Jungkook pressed check out, chose his payment option, and closed the laptop. He handed it back to Yoongi shaking his head, before finally slipping into the shower.
The last thing he heard before falling asleep was the beeping of the microwave as Yoongi heated up another plate of pizza rolls.
