Hi, my name's Jennie Brooke and I'm gonna tell you the story of when I met Marianas Trench.
It was last summer, probably one of the hottest summers my town Saskatoon had ever had. Summer was almost over. It had been the worst summer of my life, all I did was chores I didnt even get payed for! I turned on the radio while I was in my room and some Katy Perry song was playing. All I wanted was one thing, just something that made my summer a summer to remember. But that would never happen. I grabbed my iPod touch that was beside me on my bed and I went on Twitter. I got a dm from my best friend named Amy. This is what it read:
"Hey Jennie!!! I got VIP tickets to the Marianas Trench show! AHH!!!! Maybe you could come! :)"
I replied
"What Trench show??????? Where?!?!?!?!?"
I could feel my heart racing I was so happy. Marianas Trench might preform here! I checked their website and it said they were coming in 3 days! How could I not of known this? Was I forgetting about my favorite band over the summer? Impossible.
- A few hours later -
I got a dm on Twitter from Amy that said:
"Theres a Marianas Trench show in 3 days!!!! You should come with me and my friend!! It's an outdoor show and the VIP ticket includes a tour of the tour bus!"
Right at that moment my bedroom door slammed oped. "JENNIE! YOU SHOULD BE DOING YOUR CHORES!" my dad yelled at me. He took my iPod out of my hands and left.
