That's all I ever hear. Such a sad life in the depths of the sea. Nothing but coral, shells, and fish poop... Oh the loneliness....I sit here in such sorrow..Am I really that bad at singing??? How am I the only siren who cant sing?? Did the sea witch curse me??? I sigh as ruffle my hair due to frustration. All I could think about was me being a failure.

Why must I be the outcast in this world?

Sitting in despair on rocks of the sea.. I felt so helpless...alone...

I dream to be human...to have legs and dance around, feel the warm sand and enjoy what they see and do. Aahh yes, dancing I dream of having the chance to dance everyday.

But we cannot mingle with humans..for if they fall for us, they will turn into a siren aswell.

They will suffer the same fate we live in.

While I was crying my pearls out...A beautiful soulful high-pitched voice caught my hearing.

Another Siren perhaps?

The voice of that siren gave such pleasure to the ears. But I never heard such angelic voice in this part of the sea. I wanna get closer. I try to follow the sound with my spectacular siren hearing eheh.

That voice is coming from the surface...where the humans are!

I rush up to the surface, My heart was pounding and my body started shaking. I never been this far up before. But! Im near the shore! I was amazed with the starry sky, the moonlight that beams on me and the waters, the fresh air that i finally took breath upon, I felt a strage feeling. After gazing upon the stars, I remembered the voice that caught my attention.The voice wasnt as loud as before and it was less clear. My ears started to hurt. Weird... They say humans were disturbing monsters that walk on land...and they have the socery to travel in the waters and heavens...
