Cafeteria

The classes were boring and finally, it was time for lunch. Somi and Mina accompanied you to the cafeteria. You three got your trays.

Somi was explaining you about the school facilities when you both heard crumbling sounds behind you two. Both of you looked behind and saw Mina eating more like stuffing her mouth with food while walking. Mina looked at you guys innocently with puppy eyes and said, "I was just hungry."

Somi looked at you and whispered, "This is the reason I stopped her from eating this morning."

Changbin came out of nowhere and bumped into Mina purposely. He looked at Mina with a fake smile and said, "Oops!! What do I see here! A walking pig stuffing her mouth." Then he just walked away with Mina glaring at him.

You 3 then started walking towards the table. And again another boy, Han came towards Somi and snatched her tray of food from her with an evil smile on his face and said, "Go get another one."

With that he started walking towards Changbin who had just left.

Somi became speechless for a while and then shouted frustatedly, "What is with you stealing my food!"

She shouted loud enough for him to hear which made him look back and say, "I already told you to get yourself another one. Don't you understand? And it is not stealing, it is mine to begin with."

With this he never looked back and walked away. Somi blurted some curse words as she walked to get another tray for herself. And you three finally got yourselves a table.

"What did Han mean by that tray was his to begin with?" You asked Somi out of curiosity.

Then Somi replied, "He just wanted to remind us that he is our school director's son due to which he gets to do whatever he wants and order everyone around as well. THAT SPOILED BRAT!!" She said boiling with anger.

"That is why he and eight of his friends act as if they own the school by controlling over everything." Mina continued as Somi was boiling with anger.

You said, "Wait! All nine of them are the director's sons? He's got some guts... strength."

Mina replied, "No no no. Only Han is the school director's son. You already know three of them...Changbin, Han and Felix...the boy who came late to the class in the morning."

Somi continued, "While others are Lee Know, Hyunjin, Seungmin, Woojin, I.N and Chan. Except Han none of their family background is known. So some even suspect that they deal with underground bosses and mafia business like murder and other illegal stuffs."

Mina said, "One time, the janitor of our school disappeared and it was said that she was last seen with those boys. No one ever tried to mention her name out loud. And the rumours say that her disappearance contained the involvements of those nine boys."

You were taken back a little after hearing what Somi and Mina said. "Are they that much dangerous? The boys studying in a school?" You asked them with disbelief.

"Personally I see them as stray dogs... grasping and hunting, having no home but having each other as a family. They protect their territory. To the person who comes in their way, what happens to them is...out of our imagination." Mina said.

When suddenly the scream of a girl was heard.

"Who is that?" Somi said. Then the three of you looked towards where the sound came from. Then you saw Felix and a girl. You understood the situation.

That girl had bumped into Felix with her tray of food in her hand. Due to that Felix's shirt had gotten some food. His shirt was stained. His frustration and angerness could be seen although he was quiet while the girl was on the verge of crying.

"Sorry. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do this." The girl apologized.

"Shut your dirty mouth. Do you think apologizing removes this stain?" Felix shouted at her.

However the girl continued apologizing instead of staying quiet, "Sorry. It was unintentional." This angered Felix more.

Felix slapped the girl hard which made her fall on the floor. She started crying.

You heard voices everyone pitying her but no one offered her a helping hand.

'Not me again. Do I have to? Why must it always be me? Why???' Your inner self screamed.

With that you forgot about everything else and everything you heard from Mina and Somi about them and ran towards Felix and that girl, you stood in front of Felix blocking the girl behind you so that he could no longer threaten her.

With your brave move there were gasps and whispers all around the cafeteria about your sudden action.

Somi gasped, "Isn't that..." and looked at Mina while she screamed, "Y/N! Why are you there? Come back!"

Then you finally realized what you had done when you saw how Felix looked not even looked, he glared at you.

You thought, 'Crap! Where have I got myself into?!'
