"ORRAN WE CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THESE WERSETHs THERE'S TO MANY" Maud cried out to Orran while holding up an iron shield.
"IT'S A GODDAMN  WESETH YOU MORON AND I KNOW, DON'T MAKE IT SO DAMN OBVIOUS, PLUS ITS NOT MY FAULT I DIDN'T KNOW THESE THINGS EXISTED-" Orran yelled after getting cut off by a marine Weseth tackling him and knocking him out.
"ORRAN!!"Maud growled

A dark dire wolf appeared and pounced onto the marine Weseth and starting biting into its neck. Then a stallion appeared and picked up Orran. It looks at the dire wolf and Maud then proceeds to run off with Orran. Maud watches the two leave and smiles.

"Alright boy" she raises her staff"let's get this over with fast"

~3 days earlier~

In the year of  1378, a boy at the age of 17 is doing his daily job as a scullion. Obviously, he was just a servant who cleaned the kitchen, but who could blame him his family was servants at the beginning as well, and he really couldn't do anything about it. But it was his life and he had to at least accept it and be thankful for not being anything lower.

As he and other young men dream about being a knight or at least something with a higher rank. Orran had been trying his best trying to train and being stronger than any man in the kingdom of Ellswerth. Especially the knights and the king himself, but he knew that was impossible unless he somehow became powerful and some kind of mage.

A snapping of a finger woke Orran from his thoughts and made him go back to reality.

"oi you forgot to pick up the leftover chicken feet on the table, and don't forget to give it to the hounds" the peasant walks off.

While the boy Orran sighs and grabs the chicken legs and throws them in a basket. A young girl at the age of 15 was very adventurous and had gone to many travels with her grandfather. The girl's name was Maud Saye, and right now at the moment, she was hanging off a branch watching a couple of cubs walk by with the momma bear. While the bears past by and the blood rushing through her head. Her grandfather, Dar Saye, called Maud into the cottage. She just said ok and let her legs lose from the branch. Landing on her feet she stood up straight and headed into the cottage.

"I have a gift for you young lady" he smiled holding a cloth that was folded in his hand and holding it out to Maud.
She held it and unfolded the cloth and in the piece of cloth was a golden bracelet that had a crystal in the middle shaped like a paw.
"It was told if you wear it and gain its trust you will have good luck and grow stronger and wildlife will be your friend." the grandfather explained while smiling.
"heh...not really sure if I even need this since I kinda have all those things and don't need a bracelet to help me." she scratches the back of her head and her grandfather slides it onto her wrist.
"It doesn't hurt just have a little more luck unless you need it and plus it's no use for me it's more of a feminine jewelry piece." Maud looks at the bracelet and sighs,"well thanks gramps I'll cherish it for now but soon I know the luck will fade"
"you never know maybe it has some magic in it too after all I did find it in one of my trips."

"true..."Maud continues eyeing it for a while and smiles.

(a/n - I feel like this one is going to have really late updates especially when I'm explaining more than 6 amulet origins, but overall hope you enjoyed it and chapter 2 will come soon)
