(Jason's POV)

When (Y/N) woke up I watched (Y/N) walk silently down a path into the woods. Her two eyes twinkled in the sunlight. One of her eyes was a sky blue and the other a hazel. I watched her for a while before walking out and turning to face her. She stopped dead in her tracks and she seemed to calm down. I could almost her heart skip a beat and I couldn't help but smile. Something I haven't done since she left. Something I reserved for her. Sure, she couldn't see the smile but I still smiled. She smiled her shy smile.

She accepted my silence, that was why I couldn't let her go. I tried to hard to talk to her. Tried so hard to speak. After she left, I stopped trying. I stopped begging myself to say a word. All I wanted to say was one word.

Friend

*flashback*

I was seemingly choking on the words. I tried to force them our, and I tried hard. I heard my mother enter my room.

"(Y/N) is here to see you," she said happily. I jumped up and ran for the door, opening it and being engulfed in a hug. I smiled and we both returned to my room. (Y/N) sat on the bed.

"I know you can do it, Jason. I believe in you."

*flashback end*

I know you can do it, Jason. I believe in you.

Believe

You believe in me.

And I won't disappoint you.

Ever

(Y/N) looked up at me and I kneeled in front of her. I let her reach for my mask and she didn't try again to take my mask off. She brushed her hand along the side of my mask. Her touch was just like I remembered. Soft and sweet. Never wanting to hurt anyone. Before I could even process it she engulfed me in a hug.

"Thank you. For saving me," her voice touched me in the heart, and I loved it. Someone called her name and she ended the hug before half waving to me and running off. I sighed and closed my eyes. He hoped no one here she loved to much, because after tonight, they would all be dead.

(Y/N's POV)

"You guys are leaving!" You yelped, looking at your parents.

"There is some camp problems and we have to go out of town. We will be back in a few days. You can stay here if you want."

"Yes," You yelped out suddenly. About beaming. Sooner than you thought your parents drove off. You sighed and decided you needed to rest. You went to your cabin and began to dream.

*dream*

You were sitting across the bed from a young kid that had a soft smile on his face. He was a deformation but he still was a human. He practically beamed at you even as you sat in silence.

"You can do it, Jason. I believe in you."

He smiled and he looked like he was trying to say something but it wouldn't come out. After a while it sounded like a hum, sweet and kind. He gasped and about fell over.

"You did it! And one day you will speak, and I will be here when you do!" You say as you grasped his soft hands. He was crying out of pride and you pulled him into a warm hug. The memory fades and you are standing at a camp site that looked familiar. You pushed past a crowd of people.

"Jason! Jason! Oh please don't hurt him! He didn't do anything! Let him go!" You screamed as you pushed past some boys. Jason couldn't hear you and someone grabbed you. You watched as the small boy slowly sank under the water, never coming up. You felt a hand on your shoulder and turned around, seeing a gentle person.
