How It All Began

Lupin walked towards his beloved mate Shila "Hello love!" he said as he gently licked her cheek "Hello, hun." she said sweetly as she nudged him "How are our adorable pups doing?" He asked as he was wagging his tail like puppy "Oh, their doing great!" Shila said as she unwrapped her tail around her two small pups "Oh my, one of them looks like me!" Lupin said with excitement in his voice "They both have a cancer symbol on their cheeks." she said "Oh, so I️ guess they're 'crabby', eheh." he said laughing at his own ridiculous joke. Shila laughed and pawed his face "You make the worst jokes love." She said sassily "Yeah, but they still made you laugh, so it's good enough." Suddenly a black greyish wolf with a lava design on his back and fire coming out of his eyes "Oh, hello Mars." Shila said softly. "Ah, brother I️ was just about to get you." Lupin said "Yeah, anyways, dad wants us to start preparing for the war." Mars said sternly "War? What war?!?" Shila said worriedly, not wanting to put her pups in danger. "Love, everything will be fine. I️ promise to protect you and our pups, with my life." Lupin said assuring his mate "Alright hun." She said and she licked Lupin's shoulder. "Well common brother! You don't want dad to get mad." Mars said as he growled at Lupin "Okay, I'm coming! See you later love" Lupin said as he nuzzled Shila's nose with his, then quickly left the den. Shila sighed, "See you later hun..." Shila said sadly, still worrying that her pups might be in danger, she wrapped her tail around her pups and licked their fur. One of Shila's pups named BluShine with lavender blue pelt and white freckles, star and moon crest, and a very light pastel galaxy pattern on her back and tail, yawned softly slowly opening her eyes for the first time. Shila notices and smiles, licking BluShine's soft fur. "Oh BluShine, you look just like your father..." She said smiling with joy. After a long day of training, Lupin went back to his and his mate's den, he saw BluShine and Comet playing with each other. He walked towards them and patted their heads with his paw, Comet nommed on his paw, he laughed and nudged Comet. BluShine walked back to her mom and slept near her. Weeks later. Comet woke up near her dad and then noms on his ear. "Wake up dad!!" Lupin instantly wakes up and paws Comet's face "It's still very early Comet." He said softly "Yeah but I'm hungry!" Comet said still pulling his ear with her teeth, "Heh, alright let me get to get you some food then." Her father said "Can I️ come with you?" She said as she was giving him the puppy eyes "Yes you can come, but stay by me at all cause." He said "YAY!" Comet said wagging her tail. They strolled to the woods to hunt some rabbits until her father saw a wolf about to attack his very young pup "COMET DUNK!" He shouted "Huh-EEEK!!!" She dunked her head and trembled with fear, Lupin hastily picked his pup by her scruff and ran to his den. "Shila, my love, wake up and take the pups somewhere safe!" Shila instantly got up and picks her pups by the scruff and runs to a safe place. Mars walked behind his brother and tackled him, biting his neck but Lupin quickly clawed Mars face and pushed him off of him "Brother! You traitor! How could you betray your own clan?" He asked snarling at his brother "Well Lupin, I️ never belonged here and dad wanted you to be leader of this clan so I️ killed him slowly and painfully." Mars said laughing like a lunatic "You killed your own blood? Brother, I'm sorry to say this but I️ will avenge our father..by killing you!" Lupin said and pounced on Mars, biting his throat hard, making it bleed. Mars clawed on of Lupin's eyes and bites his chest, Shila ran back to her den to see this horrifying scene. She clawed Mars's eyes making him go blind, but Mars clawed Shila's side before she could do that. She fell to the ground and whined, Lupin, being the protective mate he is, he clawed and bit his traitor brother several times and Mars did the same thing. "LUPIN, WATCH OUT!!!!" Shila yelled, Lupin looked back to see his brother jumping at him, Mars bit his throat supper hard, making it bleed rapidly "NOOO!" Shila cried out. Lupin fell hard to ground bleeding a lot, Shila walked towards him and cried "Lupin, please..please don't die, our pups need you!" She said as tears stream down her face, Lupin wiped her tears away with his paw "Shila, take care of our precious pups..cause I️ can no longer be with you my love...." He said breathing very slowly "No! I️ need you by my side, I️ can't do this alone." She said nudging him "You have too..." Lupin said as his heart beat stopped "Lupin? Lupin, don't die on me now! DON'T DIE!!" She cried and howled at the moon. Mars limped away to see his mate and pups, but died due to blood loss. Shila ran back to her pups and put necklaces on them "Mama, what's going on" BluShine asked worriedly "Where's dad?" Comet asked "Your father died pups, and I️'m not sure I️ can take care of both of you by myself." Shila said sadly as she put necklaces on both of them "Farewell my pups" She said and ran off. "Mama!!! MAMA!! Come back" BluShine cried out "She's not coming back Blu, she hates us!" Comet said growling softly "Th-That's not true!" BluShine stuttered trying to find words of what to say back but couldn't say anything. They both walked towards a very small den and slept through the night. In the morning, two female wolves strolling through the woods saw a small den and two pups, they took them both to raise them as their own.
