A life to remember

Chpt 1.

These streets remind me of the life I once had here with my family. It was the perfect life. My Mother, Father, two younger brothers, and me. I grew up in the country sides but when I got older we moved towards the city my parents claiming the houses out there were cheaper. But I can't really complain, this is place I met my best friend Katie who was like a sister too me. I remember my mother tell me I wasn't allowed to go to a friends house with Katie. But sure enough my persuasive best friend talked me into sneeking out. I was afraid I would get caught in the action, because I was always such a good girl. I had to admit though it was worth sneezing out that night. Because that's where I met my first crush, he was cute and kind. I will not revel his name just yet that will come later on. I snuck out a few times after that night. But one night was my last time, my Father had went up stairs looking for me but I wasn't there so my parents called the cops and they searched for me. I returned at exactly 1 am that night and my parents have me the lecture of my life. After that I was grounded for a month.

Katie still remains my best friend to this day. We have had so many memory's together both good and bad it would be a shame to just break a friend ship like ours. My mother always knew Katie was a bad influence on me but I didn't care. It was like we were meant to be best friends. "No mother would have been able to handle us as sisters." is what we would always say. We were right as well every time we had sleep over our mothers would go insane and couldn't wait to get the other out of the house the next day.

I remember how me and Katie would walk up and down the streets by our houses, and try to embarrass one another I front of the others crush. One day she pushed me playfully after I had made a joke about her in front of her crush and I landed right in a puddle, turns out my crush was walking up the street to meet up with some friends and he saw the whole thing. I was so EMBARRASSED! I could have killed Katie that day.

A few months after she pushed me in the puddle me and her were at school and my crush came up to me and said "I saw you fall a few months back and I thought it was cute how much you blushed after. I was wondering would you like to go out with me sometime?" EEP! Of course I said yes he was the cutest guy I had ever laid eyes on. If Katie had pushed me in the puddle in the first place he probably would have never asked me out. It was just a dream come true for me!
