Avengers oneshots!!☺

I was sitting in my living room reading the great Gatsby and it was a great book, anyway my door bell ring and I opened the door and my heart stopped and I saw bucky standing there with a soilder uniform on.

"Your going to the war?" I whispered with tears about to spill from my eyes and he looked sad and hugged me 

"I'm sorry doll, but I have too" he said with a sad tone and I cried silently 

"J..just promise...promise me you will come back to me" I said while sobbing and he hugged me tighter 

"Of course doll" he whispered to me and rubbed my back to reassure me

(Timeskip)

I was in the living room cleaning up when the doorbell ringed and I opend the door to see a sad Steve and I instantly knew what happened and I fell to my knees crying my heart out

"N..no....no..no....he promised me, he promised me!!!!" I sobbed as Steve got down and hugged me and I could tell he was trying to hold back his tears too 

"It's okay, it's gonna be okay" Steve said as I sobbed harder 

"N...no.., he promised me steve!!, he promised me" I sobbed out again and we were just like that for 30 minutes with me just sobbing....
