Chapter 8~ Just Visiting

Rosemary's POV
"So.... this is interesting." Clearly I'm trying to start a conversation but Rin is trying to come up with some idea to get us out of here. I trust Mom she'll get us out, she always came to mine or my brothers rescue before. Maybe we could-

"Ice make: Lance!"
Of course just when I'm trying to come up with a way to get help he goes and breaks my concentration. Like always.

"Could you... not?"

"What's wrong with my idea?" Oh god don't make that face.

"No it's a good idea but I doubt-"

"Rose? Rose! Rosemary!?" What's this a-again this same feeling when the spell was cast I f-feel like I'm dying, but I already felt this. Am I not dead? No. I must be.

"Why hello there." Who's this She has brown hair up in pig tails tied by bows, hazel eyes, and she's so young!

"Who are you?" This girl gives me the vibe that I met her before. Is she-

"That's not important." She's said shaking her hands like I'm wrong. "What is important is what you're about to see."

"What am I about to see? I thought I was dead?"

"That's not important either, well aren't ya coming your about to see your life?"

"Is this what people mean by my life flashing before their eyes before they die?"

"Geez, what's up with you and dying?"

"I thought I was!"

"Well... I don't know. You'll have to decide after we see."

Rin's POV
Well now what. Rose is gone. But what's going on? It's all dark now, what's that... light... maybe I'll find Rose...

"He's coming too!"

"Grey-sama get the Master!"

"Got it!"

As I open my eyes I'm on a bed. Not mine. Or one the ones in our infirmary, I've been there too many times.

"Wha-where's Rose? Where am I? What's going on?" I ask the figure last in front of me which I presume to be our friends.

"Oh, Rin! I'm so sorry!" Sylvia jumped on me. Her hugs were always comforting.

"What happened?" She pulled away from me her eyes filled with sadness brimming with tears.

"I al- almost k-killed y-you." That's what happened I don't really remember anything since I saw Rosemary on the battlefield. That's it she was taken! But why do I see an image of her crying whenever I think of her? How come I've never seen her cry but I can picture it perfectly? Or have I seen her cry, I don't remember.

"O-oh." This is strange I don't remember her trying to kill me.

"Really! Your sister confessed that she was trying to kill you and all you can say is oh!?!" Nashi. I didn't know that it was that big of a deal. She's my sister so I thought she was acting. She always threatened to kill me but she actually tried?

"I'm sorry. Its alright Syl, don't cry." I glanced over at my sister who was practically bawling her eyes out in the corner or the room next to someone else who's seemingly unconscious. "Hey," I got their attention, "where's Rose?"

Rosemary's POV
"So, let me get this straight. I decide if I'm going to die or not. And there will be a consequence to either action." I asked the young brunette in front of me.

"Yep that about sums it up." She smiled actually smiled.

"Well What am I supposed to do until then?" I'm curious because of course I want to live but there's going to be some reason why I would want to die.

"That's a good question." Of course it is that's why I asked it. "Do you know what your parents went through?" What of course I knew about the war of Tartaros, the dragon attack, and the battle against Acnologia but I never knew where they came from. And this girl could tell. "So, do you wanna hear?"

"I-I don't think Mom would want me to. She might be waiting till I'm ready!" This has me wondering... does she know my parents? Have my parents told me everything? Obviously not, if this girl has to tell me. "Ya know? I will listen. If I don't it will probably be a very boring time. Right?"

"Right. You made the right decision, so at first long ago the was a beautiful woman named Irene..."

No One's POV
In the Lamia Scale infirmary team Nashi was explaining the sudden turn of events him becoming controlled by Rosemary, who he found out was the other person in the room currently in a coma of sorts, and attacking his family. This news made him upset and conflicted was he really that evil and distant or would he really do anything Rosemary told him too, not that he minded, but both were bad enough.

Down in the Guild hall the parents were talking about how they were going to deal with the Dark Council they would definitely put a pause on the 100 year quest.

Sorry! I'm so so so so so so so so so so so sorry! I haven't updated in so long! Not that my stories are any good. Nobody reads them anyway. I'm visiting Chicago this weekend so I'll try to work on this in my free time not that I'm going to have any but I will make this a priority of mine. Not that anyone would care 😔 anyway...
