Well...

Welcome to my Wonderland, motherfuckers. So sit down and shut it, because what you're about to read is one fucked up ride and when it's done you will be left to wonder if any of it was even real. My answer to that is, what the fuck do think? Either way, good luck finding your way out sucker. We both know this is only the beginning. See you in Wonderland.

Lilith sat silently on the park bench in time square listening to her iPod. She was blasting her music as loud as possible, trying to drown out her own thoughts. She had her elbows on her knees and she was looking down at the ground between her combat boots. There was a piece of old gum stuck there, which she had just barely missed stepping on. Which you could say was the only lucky thing that had happened today because the rest of it had sucked.

Lilith thought about how she could really use a vacation, maybe even a permanent one. Lilith felt a drop of water hit the back of her neck, it sent a chill down her spine. She looked up at the grey sky and sighed closing her eyes as it began to rain.

She smiled a bit as the rain hit her face covering up where the tears had been. When the rain faltered she opened her eyes to find a homeless man with a newspaper held over his head. He said something to her, but she couldn't hear him because of her headphones. She pulled them out of her ears quickly.

"I'm sorry sir, what was that? I couldn't hear you." Lilith asked softly, "You better get some cover little miss, the storm is supposed to get really bad. Wouldn't want you to be out here when it hits." He replied pointing up at the sky, even with the rain blocking most of the smell. Lilith could still tell he hadn't had a decent shower in a while.

Lilith stood up and looked at him with a kind expression he wasn't used to. "Thank you," Lilith said then paused eyebrows furrowing slightly as she asked, "Um sir, do you have a shelter to go to? You shouldn't be out here either."

"No ma'am, the shelters are filled up, I'll just take my chances with the bridge." He shrugged, tapping on the shopping cart that he had been pushing around.

"Oh no you won't, not if the storm is supposed to be as bad as you say." Lilith pulled out a 100 bill from her pocket and handed it to the homeless man. "Go get yourself a motel and stay dry. You're right, no one should be out in this." She told him her smiling falling a bit as she thought about heading home herself.

The homeless man looked at Lilith in shock as he started to ramble, "Thank you so much, no one has ever been this kind. God bless your kind heart.-"

"Don't mention it. Stay dry sir." Lilith smiled and walked away. She had planned on using that 100 to get her boyfriend a gift for their 4 year anniversary, but she didn't have much use for it now.

Lilith walked over to the nearest bus stop just as one pulled up. She moved to the back of the bus and sat down. She could have walked back to the college, but it was raining too hard and she didn't bring her umbrella despite knowing it was supposed to rain today. For someone with a 4.0 GPA, forgetting her umbrella was pretty stupid. Though as she thought about it, a 4.0 didn't really mean much when it was an art degree.

The bus stopped just outside her school. Lilith quickly got off the bus and ran across the campus to her dormitory. She climbed the stairs to her dorm stopping abruptly when she saw her best friend Becca standing outside Lilith's dorm door. Texting away on her phone as if nothing had happened. Lilith involuntarily let out a growl. The last thing she wanted to do was talk to Becca, but the blonde bimbo was blocking Lilith's door.

Lilith stood taller and swallowed her breath before stomping up to the door glaring at Becca the entire way.

"Move out of my way right now," Lilith ordered, giving Becca the best death glare she could manage. Becca looked up from her phone, her big blue eyes filled with sadness. "Lil, please can we talk about this?" Becca begged, Lilith's anger only cooled for a brief moment but her anger flared up quickly with a matching headache.
